Hazel leads our recruitment team, sharing her extensive experience and expertise across this industry sector and is a recognised expert at delivering key Senior and, Executive level recruitment assignments. Since setting up the business in 2011, Hazel is delighted to have established Gillespie People Solutions as the leading Rec2Rec consultancy in Scotland and the north of England and, the expert to go to for genuine, honest and truly valuable advice, for employers and recruiters. After running award winning teams and coaching and developing colleagues and helping them enjoy successful careers of their own, Hazel decided to make a change and launch her own business identifying and developing new talent in the industry. Hence, Gillespie People Solutions was born and, she hasn't looked back! Since then, Hazel has used her skills and wealth of expertise in the Rec2Rec marketplace to provide consultancy advice to a long list of business leaders, large and small, in the recruitment industry, across the UK. Hazel enjoys working with leadership teams, sharing her knowledge and working closely and collaboratively to get the right results. The Rec2Rec industry is a highly specialised market sector which Hazel loves working in, and she genuinely enjoys helping talented recruiters grow their careers and making a tangible difference to her clients' businesses. Outside of work, Hazel is a self-confessed foodie who loves trying new restaurants. She also enjoys experimenting in her own kitchen from time to time, entertaining friends and, still partying like it's 1999... now and again! Hazel's greatest passion is her family though and she loves to spend time with her two boys - three really! As a result, she has now been forced to start enjoying football, learning how to play the Xbox and how to build the best Minecraft world and invite people to your 'realm'!

Peter Gillespie

Peter has gained a broad range of experience at senior and board levels across various business sectors, including Media, Digital marketing and SaaS - alongside 10+ years experience in senior roles in the recruitment industry and recruitment marketing sector. At GPS, Peter focuses on some special projects and more bespoke client assignments, while also taking care of a lot of the less glamorous 'back-office' stuff When not huddled in a corner poring over LinkedIn, 'socials' and chatting to all and sundry, he's usually found watching footy, hanging out with his boys, driving the family taxi and trying (in vain) to become a decent golfer. He's an eternal optimist though!
