Ashok Mandalia

Ashok joined Somers Baker Prince Kurz in October 1994. Ashok has a wealth of experience with the preparation of statutory compliant accounts. Ashok has worked with some great companies over the years and is always on hand to assist our client base with his wealth of knowledge. We have a saying in the office regarding Ashok's accounting and audit ability ‘if Ashok doesn't know the answer, it's not worth knowing'.

David Allen

David heads the bookkeeping team at Somers Baker Prince Kurz. He began his career in accounting in 2003, and has worked in a variety of accounting and in-house roles in different firms since then. He has been working with the firm since November 2011.

Martin Tiano

Martin completed his articles at Cohen Arnold & Co. where he worked as an audit manager and PA to a senior partner between 1981 and 1988. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1986. After leaving, he had a short spell at H. W. Fisher before setting up his own practice. Whilst establishing his own firm, Martin set up a close working relationship with B.M. Orkin & Co. In January 2002, Martin formally merged the two practices. Professional Interests His professional work has encompassed most aspects of general practice with particular emphasis on the ‘External Financial Director' role for small and medium sized, especially family run, businesses. Martin takes his role as financial advisor to his clients very seriously, taking a personal interest in all his clients' projects and ventures. Martin served as a Trustee and Honorary Treasurer to a national charity for over six years.

Saul Tiano

Saul has a passion for assisting his clients with all their business financial requirements. Saul's favourite role is that of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) as this enables him to become more involved with his clients financial affairs and also utilise his business knowledge to assist with the growth strategies for his clients. Saul trained as a general practitioner and is therefore able to provide all compliance-based services and tax advisory work to his clients. Saul has a fantastic contact base and is always on hand to recommend other professionals to you who can assist with the growth of your business. Outside of work Saul has a passion for football, following his beloved Tottenham Hotspur, and for boxing; having realised he will never top the bill for a boxing event he is happy to top the bill of all his clients needs.

Simon Winterman

Simon has been with the company since February 2022 and is the Payroll Manager at the firm, as well as assisting and preparing with VAT returns. Simon has a wealth of payroll knowledge in abundance and is always on hand to answer any questions or queries that a client may have. In his spare time, he is always planning his next voyage as loves to go travelling all round the world. He is also a very keen football fan and follows his local team Borehamwood up and down the country.
