Angela is a research fellow in media and communications law at Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, and a PhD researcher at the European University Institute in Florence, Italy, working on a thesis entitled 'corporate dominance of the Internet'. She is also a co-coordinator of the UN Internet Governance Forum Dynamic Coalition on Freedom of Expression and Freedom of the Media on the Internet. Anriette Esterhuysen

Anriette is the executive director of the Association for Progressive Communications, a global civil society network working with ICTs to support social justice and development. Prior to joining APC, Anriette was executive director SANGONeT, an internet service provider and training institution for development and human rights groups in South Africa. She has served on the Technical Advisory Committee of the UN's Economic Commission for Africa's African Information Society Initiative and the United Nations ICT Task Force. She is a member of the Multi-stakeholder Advisory Group of the IGF and the High Level Panel on the Future of Internet Governance. Anriette was inducted into the Internet Hall of Fame in 2013.

Aparna Sridhar

Aparna Sridhar serves as Counsel for Google Inc. in Washington, DC. At Google, she represents the company on communications policy and Internet governance matters in international fora, in Congress and before the FCC and other administrative agencies. She previously served in a similar role at Free Press, a national nonprofit nonpartisan organization dedicated to media reform. Aparna received her J.D. from Stanford Law School and her A.B. from Harvard University. She also clerked for the Honorable M. Margaret McKeown, who sits on the United States Court Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

He is responsible for directing and advocating News Corporation's positions on international media, intellectual property and e-commerce policy and regulatory issues before U.S. and foreign governments as well as international organizations. He served as Vice President of E-commerce and Telecommunications at the United States Council for International Business, managing electronic commerce and telecommunications policy program and services.

Dr. Anja Kovacs

Dr. Anja Kovacs directs the Internet Democracy Project. Her work focuses on a wide range of questions regarding freedom of expression, cybersecurity and the architecture of Internet governance as they relate to the Internet and democracy. Anja is currently also a member of the of the Investment Committee of the Digital Defenders Partnership and of the interim Steering Committee of Best Bits. In addition, she has worked as an international consultant on Internet issues, including for the United Nations Development Programme Asia Pacific and the UN Special Rapporteur on Freedom of Expression, Mr. Frank La Rue, and has been a Fellow at the Centre for Internet and Society in Bangalore. Prior to focusing her work on the information society, Anja researched, taught and consulted on a wide range of development-related issues.

Dr. Ramesh Subramanian

Dr. Ramesh Subramanian is the Gabriel Ferrucci Professor of Computer Information Systems at the School of Business, Quinnipiac University and is a Visiting Fellow at the Yale Law School's "Information Society Project," where he researches on the intersection of security, privacy, public policy and law, and the history of computing.

Dr. Stefania Milan

Dr. Stefania Milan is an advisor to the Italian government and one of its representatives within ICANN, its GAC and other IT fora. She is a Post-Doctoral Fellow currently residing in Canada, and working with The Citizen Lab and the Canada Center for Global Security Studies, Munk School of Global Affairs, University of Toronto. She is also a researcher, journalist, and consultant, specializing in social movements, alternative media, participation issues and media policy, emancipatory communication practices, the interplay between technologies and society, and the politics of code.

Joana Varon

Joana is a researcher and project coordinator at the Centre for Technology and Society from Fundação Getulio Vargas in Rio de Janeiro. She works on applied research on information and communication technology for development. Joana is concerned about how the lack of true Internet freedom impacts human rights, innovation and, ultimately, development.

Marilyn Cade

She also directs AT&T's advocacy activity on these issues with ad hoc organizations, professional organizations and associations. In addition to advocacy and technology policy, her career with AT&T has included a number of management positions with AT&T's business units in sales, marketing, business operations and strategy.

Pablo Hinojosa

Pablo is Director, Strategic Engagement at APNIC. He is responsible of representing the organisation in a senior diplomatic capacity, cultivating and managing relationships with governments, key intergovernmental organisations and member communities. Previous to joining APNIC, he was responsible for managing the Latin American portfolio at ICANN. Previous to joining ICANN, he was Director for Multilateral Affairs in the Mexican Federal Telecommunications Commission. As a government official, he was the Representative from Mexico at ICANN's Governmental Advisory Committee, where he held the positions of Vice- Chair and Convener of the Working Group on ccTLDs. Pablo was part of the Mexican delegation attending WSIS and also Advisor to the Chair of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Telecommunications and Information Working Group. He has experience in international fora such as the OECD, APEC, ITU, WTO, among others.

Prior to joining Facebook Sarah was a diplomat for a decade with the New Zealand Foreign Service serving at the United Nations and managing Political and Congressional Affairs at the New Zealand Embassy in Washington DC. She also served as a technical legal expert to the United Nations Biosafety Protocol Working Group and was Chief Negotiator on an International Liability Protocol.

Suzanne Woolf

Suzanne is a member of the ICANN board and is experienced in both the technical and policy aspects of the evolution of the Internet, particularly DNS issues. She rejoined ICANN after serving three years as the Executive Director of Global Internet Policy for Verizon Communications, where she specialized in emerging issues and stakeholder and policy leader engagement.

Vladimir Radunovik

Vladimir is a coordinator of e-diplomacy educational and training programmes of DiploFoundation. Prior to this, he has coordinated the Internet governance and policy programmes and has been actively involved with the UN WSIS process since 2003, and currently serves as a Member of the Multistakeholder Advisory Group of the UN Internet Governance Forum. Vladimir has been a speaker on Internet governance, ICT policy, capacity development, e-diplomacy, cyber-security, education of policy-makers and community building at a number of international events. His research interests are in capacity development and online learning, inclusive policy and process negotiations and planning, e-diplomacy, broadband and access policy, network neutrality, cyber-security and Internet safety, and strategies for bridging the digital divide.
