BARASH & EVERETT - Key Persons
Barry M. Barash works from the firm's Galesburg office. Barry was Assistant Attorney General of the State of Illinois from 1963-64. He is board certified in consumer and business bankruptcy and is a Fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy. He is also a licensed pilot with over 30 years of experience and commercial, multi-engine and instrument ratings. He concentrates in Chapter 11 & 12 bankruptcies, with special focus on agricultural issues.

Justin is a partner and chief executive officer of the firm working primarily out of our Kewanee office. Justin graduated from Southern Illinois University School of Law in 2007 and was hired on with Barash and Everett as an associate thereafter. He is a veteran of the United States navy where he served as a Sonar Technician on the Submarine, USS Nevada SSBN 733.

Leslie M. Day is an associate in Barash & Everett's Galesburg office. Leslie attended the University of Illinois where she graduated with a double major in Psychology and Philosophy in 2009. While at the University of Illinois, Leslie was active in the Marching Illini (Squad Leader), Alpha Omicron Pi, Alpha Lambda Delta, Phi Eta Sigma and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. She received her law degree from The George Washington University Law School in 2012 where she was a Thurgood Marshall Scholar and a member of The Public Contract Law Journal. While attending law school in Washington D.C., she was involved in many internships and externships, including interning for the Department of Defense, Department of Commerce, and the D.C. Office of the Attorney General.
Paul L. Mangieri has been in the practice of law for over 36 years. Upon graduation from law school in 1984, he proudly volunteered for service with the U.S. Navy as a JAG Corps Officer. He served aboard the aircraft carrier USS Saratoga (CV-60), seeing two deployments overseas. Upon his release from active duty he began the private practice of law with the firm of Barash & Stoerzbach. From 1988 until 1996, Paul represented the citizens of west central Illinois in all areas of the law, but specialized in trial litigation, both civil and criminal, and had areas of specialty in personal injury, workers' compensation, and commercial claims. From 1996 until 2007, he served as the elected Knox County State's Attorney. From 2007 until 2019, Paul was a Circuit Court Judge for the Ninth Judicial Circuit where he presided over every type of legal claim.

Robert Lindstrom is an associate attorney of Barash & Everett, LLC and currently works out of the firm's Galesburg office. A native of Galesburg, Illinois, Robert has practiced law and served within the community for over 40 years in a number of roles. His practice is focused on commercial litigation, creditor bankruptcy, estate and trust planning and administration, real estate law and trials and appeals.
