Bikeability Scotland is a cycle training programme, usually delivered in schools between P5 and S2, that teaches children to cycle safely, to learn how to deal with traffic and that, above all, gets children excited about cycling... As the national cycle training programme for school children, Bikeability Scotland is designed to give children the skills and confidence they need to cycle safely on the roads, and to encourage them to carry on cycling into adulthood... Bikeability Scotland supports the next generation of confident and responsible road users. Transport is the single biggest source of climate change emissions and cycling helps reduce the impact on climate change and improves air quality.
