Bio-Med is one of 7 public, Independent STEM schools in Ohio, and one of the only STEM schools [the first STEM school] to offer full coverage of K-12 grades... Many people know that STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math, and they assume Bio-Med is a school totally focused on things like 1s and 0s and scientific notation. At Bio-Med, STEM is not a specific body of knowledge. Rather, it's a process that can be applied to any subject, any problem, anything the real world throws at you... Bio-Med Science Academy serves students in grades Kindergarten through 10th grade who are Ohio residents. Students must have a willingness to engage in inquiry, critical thinking, effective communication, and collaboration. Academy students must be driven to actively participate in their educational experience.
