Birgunj Institute of Technology (BIT) was established as a private technical institute in 2000 AD offering three years Diploma program in Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. Computer Engineering was added in the year 2002 AD, Civil Engineering and Electronics Engineering program in 2007 AD followed by Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 2019 AD. This institute is affiliated to the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) of the Government of Nepal. The institute is located in Birgunj Metropolitan City on its own land and building. Our graduates have already been serving in Nepal and abroad since 2003 demonstrating highest standard of technical skills and knowledge they acquired at BIT. BIT is in the process to get affiliation for conducting Bachelors in Engineering (BE) programs... BIT provides a number of classified special scholarships as per CTEVT policies.
