Julie is a Business Psychologist and Organisational Development Specialist. She holds a Masters degree in Occupational Psychology from Birkbeck College and has over 15 years experience working across a range of sectors. Julie is passionate about behavioural change and its impact and has lead and supported many large and small business restructures and change programmes for some household names. Julie is an experienced facilitator and is able to engage with organisations, teams and individuals at all levels. Julie started her career as a graduate working in a large consultancy. Then as a full consultant worked with clients designing and delivering training programmes, driving organisational change, designing competency frameworks and running talent programmes. Sectors included B2B, manufacturing, retail, construction & housebuilding, automotive and leisure industries with people at all levels. Julie then became HR manager for a Hotel and Conference Booking Agency, which after some significant leadership changes, was restructuring, rebranding and relocating. The company had grown quickly both organically and through acquisitions, but had not yet put the processes in place to support the growing headcount. Julie designed, integrated and established a new set of HR processes, developed around a new company wide competency framework she also designed and worked with the directors to define a new set of values for the business. She also lead key talent and development programmes and regraded all roles within the company to define associated benefits and status. Most recently Julie worked in Organisational Development for a global manufacturing company, delivering both International and UK projects. Her role encompassed the full spectrum of development areas from large scale change and restructuring projects, to more individual focused initiatives such as learning and development, graduate and talent management, performance management, recruitment and coaching. In 2013 Julie decided to follow her passion for strategic HR and OD through providing direct consultancy services to a range of businesses. Outside of work Julie is married with two boys, and she also runs Explorer Scouting (14-18 year olds) in her area.
