Jeremy Hawkins

Jeremy Hawkins holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where he was the recipient of the Morton Fellowship. He has edited novels, essays, nonfiction books, and poetry collections that have gone on to publishing success. His debut novel, The Last Days of Video, was published by Soft Skull Press (Counterpoint) in 2015. His writing has been published at Electric Lit, Diagram, Independent Ink Magazine, The Molotov Cocktail, and other venues. Recently, his screenplay Fergus was a semifinalist for the 2018 Nicholl Fellowship. He lives in Chapel Hill, NC, and for more reasons than he can list over a single night of drinks, he feels very lucky to be alive and editing for a living.
