Dr. Anuj Gogna

Having completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine, Dr. Gogna specializes in both conservative and surgical management of lower extremity injuries. Dr. Gogna is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.

Dr. Daniel Orozco

Dr. Daniel Orozco is a graduate of Pace University of NYC. After his undergraduate studies, he went on to do research in African Sleeping Sickness, Microsporidia, and Trichomoniasis while working in Haskins Laboratories.

Dr. Fred De Lucia

Dr. De Lucia completed his training at the New York Hospital Medical Center of Queens after graduation from New York University and the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He is dual Board Certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. He also proudly serves as an Honorary Police Surgeon of the New York City Police Department. Biography Dr. De Lucia is a proud alumnus of Archbishop Molloy High School. Thereafter, he completed his undergraduate education at New York University in the College of Arts and Science with a degree in Psychology while on the Pre-Med track, and his medical degree in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. De Lucia is a Fellow of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons and a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. He is a proud member of the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA), and New York State Podiatric Medical Association (NYSPMA). Dr. De Lucia has served as the New York State Chapter President of the APMA Young Physician's Division, as well as a Past-President of the Queens County Division for the New York State Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. De Lucia is an Honorary Police Surgeon of the New York City Police Department (NYPD), as well as a Police Surgeon of the New York State Fraternal Order of Police and the New York State Trooper's Benevolent Association, as well as the Amtrak Police FOP. His interests extend to all areas of podiatric care, both medical and surgical for all ages of patients who require comprehensive and specialized care of the foot and ankle. His areas of particular interest are lower leg, foot and ankle trauma surgery, reconstructive surgery of congenital deformity, as well as adult and pediatric flatfoot reconstruction. Dr. De Lucia is dual Board Certified as a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the American Board of Foot and Ankle Orthopaedics and Medicine. He specializes in complex adult and pediatric foot and ankle reconstruction and trauma surgery. He is an Honorary Police Surgeon of the NYPD.

Dr. Jack Levenson

Dr. Levenson has comprehensive training in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery. He is an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and is Board Qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons in Foot and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle surgery. Biography Dr. Levenson attended Brooklyn College graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. While an undergraduate, he was heavily involved in campus leadership and was elected to Student Chairperson of Campus Affairs, as well as other positions by his peers. He then went on to attend the New York College of Podiatric Medicine where he graduated cum laude in the top 10% of his class. He completed a four year residency at New York Presbyterian/Queens which included valuable rotations at both NYP Columbia Medical Center and NYP Weill Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Levenson received extensive training in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery and medicine including trauma and reconstructive elective surgery. He also received additional training in arthroscopy. Dr. Levenson is an Associate of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons and is Board Qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons in Foot and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle surgery. As a prior collegiate soccer player, Dr. Levenson's interest in the biomechanics of the human body, specifically the foot and ankle, was piqued early on. He particularly enjoys the sports medicine aspect of his work. He is an empathetic physician who will work with each patient in establishing treatment plans to best fit their needs. Dr. Levenson is a native New Yorker, being born and raised in Brooklyn. He feels a strong connection to New York City and Long Island and is grateful to have the opportunity to serve his community. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons and is an avid sports fan. Dr. Jeremy Britto

Dr. Britto completed his residency training at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center. He is well versed in the latest surgical and conservative treatments for both the foot and ankle. He is an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and is certified by The American Board of Podiatric Medicine. A lifelong New Yorker, he is thrilled to be the newest member of FAASNY. Biography Dr. Britto attended Brooklyn Technical High School and went on to graduate from Hunter College. During his time as an undergraduate, he was treated by a podiatric foot and ankle surgeon and decided to pursue this specialty as a career choice. His residency at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center was also spent between several hospitals of the Catholic Health System in Long Island. It was there that he was trained and mentored by surgeons of many different specialties, which has allowed him to be an overall better foot and ankle surgeon. Dr. Britto has undergone further training in the foot and ankle. This includes both the comprehensive and advanced courses offered by the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, as well as ankle arthroscopy. Although he is trained in all aspects of the foot and ankle, his passions lie in trauma, wound care, and limb salvage. He is an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He tries to maintain an active lifestyle and this has not been without injuries. He understands very much what it feels like to be in the patient chair, and this has led him to take on a very empathetic approach to traumatic or sports type injuries. He is a world traveler and loves to be surrounded by new and interesting people and ideas. He enjoys living in Queens, New York with his wife, newborn son, and two dogs. What he loves most about New York City is the diverse and countless restaurants he has to choose from. He is also an animal lover and is always willing to give support when he can to many of the local animal charities. Dr. Michael Mazer

Dr. Mazer is an Associate of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons. He is an active member of the American Podiatric and New York State Podiatric Medical Associations. Biography Dr. Mazer received an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts from New York University. He continued his undergraduate education at Penn State University where he received a Bachelor's Degree in history with emphasis on pre-medical studies. He completed four years of podiatry medical training at New York College of Podiatric Medicine and graduated as a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Mazer completed his residency program at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, New York. While in residency, he was exposed and participated in all aspects of podiatric medicine and advanced reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. During this time, he enhanced his medical education by attending courses in internal fixation as well as arthroscopic surgery. Dr. Mazer is an Associate of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons. He is an active member of the American Podiatric and New York State Podiatric Medical Associations. He has also presented various research projects at local and state medical conferences. In addition, he has volunteered at local foot screenings and Special Olympic events. A local New Yorker, Dr. Mazer has grown up on Long Island and is eager to give back to the community. For about twenty years he had trained and competed on a state, national, and collegiate level as a competitive male gymnast. Dr. Pooja Shah

Dr. Shah is an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. In her free time, Dr. Shah enjoys dancing, cooking, traveling, and exploring new restaurants in Manhattan. Biography Dr. Shah is a native New Yorker, living most of her life between Manhattan and Long Island. She attended New York University graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with minors in Chemistry and Child Mental Health Studies. She continued her education at New York College of Podiatric Medicine where she earned her degree in Podiatric Medicine. She completed a three-year residency at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx where she was trained in elective and non-elective surgeries of the foot, rear foot and ankle. She was trained and exposed to various subspecialties during her residency and believes she practices podiatric medicine with a more comprehensive and holistic approach as a result. She attended courses for internal fixation and arthroscopy during her training as well. Dr. Shah is an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Having grown up dancing her whole life, she empathizes with the necessity to live pain free with any foot ailments. She is compassionate towards her patients and recognizes that communication is the most integral part of any patient interaction.
