JY Studio provides trumpet lessons, trombone lessons and piano tuning by Jim Yost. Jim earned his Bachelor of Music in 1988 from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) where he studied with Marie Speziale. He earned his Master of Music in 1999 from Miami University (Ohio) having studied with Jim Olcott... Playing the trumpet is such an intangible experience. The player is compelled to start from the beginning and build anew each day. It isn't like building a house, where we can resume building where we left off the previous day's accomploishments. Each day we must rebuild the foundation of our musical structure... Jim Yost teaches trumpet lessons at JY Studio.
