The Continental Scientific Drilling (CSD) Facility is the result of the merger of LacCore and the Continental Scientific Drilling Coordination Office (CSDCO). Our dedicated staff is looking forward to supporting your research with our increased capacity and expanding capabilities. All functions of both LacCore and CSDCO are maintained under our new name, which serves as a single focal point for all types of research involving coring and drilling on land and in lakes... We are part of the University of Minnesota College of Science and Engineering in the School of Earth & Environmental Sciences.
