LIPSKIY OSOBNYAK

Without waxing too poetic, Lipsky Osobnyak is a gastronomic attraction of Kiev. It is the only restaurant in the CIS, the wine list of which was marked four times by the experts of authoritative guide Wine Spectator (2003, 2004, 2007 and 2014.). It was opened in 2002 on a quiet tree-lined street in the heart of the ancient city in a two-story mansion of the XIX century. Vladimir Simonenko, an architect, carefully reconstructed the tumble-down building. The restored façade and interiors truly convey the atmosphere and character of Kiev then, when Honore de Balzac, Pyotr Tchaikovsky and Franz Liszt lived there and created their masterpieces... Lipsky Osobnyak is the best restaurant of Ukrainian cuisine in Kiev. Restaurant is located in the centre of Kiev and is one of Kiev's places of interest.
