NORTHSIDE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL - Key Persons
Mrs. Wyatt graduated from Northland International University in 2009. She has moved to Columbus from Buffalo, New York, where she has taught for 10 years in the lower education department. Mrs. Wyatt is currently working toward her Master's of Education degree in Teaching and Learning and is excited to use her newly attained skills and training to serve students in unique ways.
Mrs. Hill graduated from Geneva College in 2015 and has most recently worked as a teacher at Grace Early Childhood Center. Mrs. Hill has been married for 5 years to Wes Hill, who is an NCS graduate! Mrs. Hill has also served on staff at Peniel Bible camp for over 15 years.
Prior to joining NCS, Ashley owned and managed logistics and administration in multiple small businesses. She began her service at Northside in 2017. She has four children attending Northside. Her favorite verse is Philippians 4:8.

Eric began his ministry at Calvary in July 2010. He and his wife, Cindy, have been involved in church planting, missions, music ministry, evangelism, and pastoral work. His greatest love is to make disciples by following the pattern that Christ Himself gave in the Gospels. Preaching God's Word flows from a heart that loves God, loves people, and desires to see them grow in grace and knowledge of Christ. Eric and Cindy have three married children. Carissa is the wife of Todd Davis and mother to their five children. After planting a church and faithfully shepherding there for nine years, they are pursuing a church planting ministry in Marseille, France. Quentin is married to Brittany, and they have three children. He is finishing his seminary work, and he works as a realtor in Columbus, OH. Hunter is married to Nikki, and they have three children. He is currently Pastor of a church plant in Blacklick, OH, Good Shepherd Bible Church.
Jeff Peterson served on the school board of NCS for many years. Over the years, he has been active in many facets of school operations from fundraising to construction projects. He has an education degree in mathematics from Bob Jones University and received a master's degree from The Ohio State University in mathematics. Jeff's passion is that NCS be a cooperative effort of the parents, students and faculty in pointing kids to Christ and preparing them for a life of service in the church. Jeff has a daughter who is a 2019 graduate of NCS and a son who graduated in 2022. He and his wife, Jane, have a son at NCS.
Jesse began his ministry with Calvary Bible Church and NCS in 2016. He is a graduate of Cedarville University where he studied Elementary Education and Spanish. In 2020, Jesse received his Master's in Educational Leadership from American College of Education and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction. He is married to Emily Stout, our Spanish teacher, and they have 2 beautiful kids, Noah and Eliza. Jesse demonstrates a love for Christ and his people by sacrificially pouring his life into the lives of others with great compassion, boldness for Christ and dedication to excellence in the classroom.
Mr. Mayton graduated from Ohio Dominican University in 2012, where he then went to serve in a number of different ministry roles - one of which was NCS! Mr. Mayton is a well-loved and recognized face for many of our NCS students, as he extensively substitute taught at NCS in both short term and long term roles for over 2 years. Jonathan and his wife, Erin, have 2 children, who are currently attending NCS in the lower Elementary.
Mary has an Associate degree in Office Administration from Kent State University. She has three children at NCS.
Mrs. Adriana Payton graduated in 2014 from Fairhaven Baptist College with a Bachelors of Science in Secondary Education with a focus in math and minor in music. Since then, she has taught math at the middle school level as well as teaching early preschool. Her favorite verse is Psalm 27:14.

Mrs. Elaine Faieta began teaching at Northside in 2015. She is a 1988 graduate of Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Education. Previously, she taught at Calvary Baptist Academy in Alabama and Liberty Christian Academy in Columbus. In addition, Elaine homeschooled her five daughters for many years. One of her favorite Bible passages is Lamentations 3:22-23.
Mrs. Emily Stout graduated from Cedarville University with a Bachelor of Arts in Multi-Age Spanish Education and a Minor in Bible. She has participated in study abroad programs and cultural immersion experiences, where she gained valuable communication skills and a great appreciation for Spanish culture. She student-taught in Quito, Ecuador. She is from Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Mrs. Kim Troutner graduated in 1988 from Miami University with a B.S in Biological Science Education. After teaching for three years in Worthington she became a stay-at-home mom to raise her three children. Prior to NCS, she spent six years working for Worthington High Schools as a Special Education Aide and a Science Academic Assistant, tutoring all levels and subjects in science.
Mrs. Beth Yorty has been in education for eight years, five of which have been in fourth grade. She is a graduate of Ohio Dominican University with an Elementary Education degree and Reading Certification. She has three grown children who attended NCS during their high school years. She has also been actively involved in children's ministries at Calvary Bible Church for over 20 years.

Pastor Matthew Vanderwarker is the senior pastor of Berean Bible Church in Dublin. He earned his B.A. in 1997 and his M.S. in 2004 from Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC. In 2015, he earned an M.B.S. from Virginia Beach Theological Seminary. Matt has 3 children at NCS.
