Andrew Peterson (Andy) was born and raised in Klamath Falls and has been with Molatore, Scroggin, Peterson and Company since 1984. He attended Oregon Institute of Technology, receiving an Associate's degree in Accounting. Andy has been primarily in charge of audit business for the firm and has passed the series 66 securities license. He and his wife, Becky, make their home in Klamath and have two grown children. Their son Alex is attending medical school in Valliejo, CA and their daughter Amber has given them two beautiful grandchildren. Andy enjoys running, hiking, and traveling in his personal life. He is always seeking to do what is in the best interest of his clients and has a very approachable, calm demeanor that helps in that process.

Caila Shoras is the newest member of our financial service team. She was raised in Klamath Falls and graduated from Mazama in 2013 with honors. She started working part-time for Molatore, Scroggin, Peterson, & Co during tax season 2013 and has since progressed to full time as a valuable part of the organization. Caila contributes to our team by scheduling client appointments, preparing client paperwork, and helping coordinate client events. She has a strong desire to be the best she can be and continues to grow and excel in whatever area she is needed. In her spare time she enjoys taking advantage of the beautiful basin in numerous ways including hiking, camping, and photography.
Gerrin DeGroot was born and raised in Klamath Falls. He has a very large family in the basin and is well known for coaching many soccer teams for various schools and organizations. He is a graduate from Oregon State University with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. He also holds series 66 and Oregon insurances licenses. Gerrin truly seeks to know his client's personal situations through questioning so that he can make the best recommendations possible. His is very open in his approach and many clients feel naturally able to share concerns with him. In his free time, Gerrin raises his daughters and sons and coaches their soccer teams. He likes to stay active and explore locally and travel with his children.
Kathy had just moved to Klamath Falls in 2001 when she took a position for Molatore, Scroggin, Peterson & Co., LLP certified public accountants. She then became one of the very first staff members for MSP Wealth Management, LLP with the inception of the company in 2002. Kathy is usually the first point of contact for clients. Handling general questions, scheduling appointments, preparing paperwork and fund requests are just a few of her many duties. Kathy's strong work ethic and high quality standards make her a perfect fit for the MSP Wealth Management team.
Outside of work, Kathy spends as much time as possible with her family. She and her husband have three children, two grandchildren and three dogs that keep them very busy! Kathy is committed to both physical and spiritual well-being. She is very active in her church and various community outreach programs. Most importantly, Kathy has a genuine caring for people, as many of our clients will attest to, which drives her to provide the best possible service to our clients and our community and makes her a pleasure to work with and know.
Quinn was born and raised in Klamath Falls and has the majority of his large family here in town. Having a natural bent towards research and finance, he began his professional career in the casino business for seven years, where he ended as the casino manager. He had a strong desire to help people in his professional life, so he turned to finance and the investment world beginning with Edward Jones Investments in 2004. Since 2006 Quinn has been with MSP Wealth Management, with primary roles of investment research and recommendations for the clients of Molatore, Scroggin, Peterson and Company.
He holds series 63, 66, and Oregon life insurance licenses and regularly attends due diligence and investment conferences around the country. He raises a young daughter and is very involved with his church, teaching the high school group and at the Klamath Falls Gospel Mission. He is the lead singer in a band of former church students, and with his daughter and youth group, goes on regular mission outreaches anywhere from inner city areas to remote villages in Alaska. Quinn has a very straight-forward, systematic approach to helping clients and is always seeking the most efficient path to meet your desires.

Terrence Scroggin (Terry) is the Managing Partner for Molatore, Scroggin, Peterson and Company, originally starting with the firm in 1982. In the early 2000s, he had a vision for the accounting firm to offer investment advice as a natural extension of the work already being done by the firm.
