The Mu Omega Foundation of Delaware Valley Inc. was founded in 1987 to be the charitable arm of Mu Omega chapter of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. The founders felt that the creation of a separate entity would greatly enhance Mu Omega's ability to solicit and invest monies for the purpose of providing scholarship assistance to college-bound seniors in the Philadelphia school systems and to support worthwhile community service projects.
