Safe Steps Training offers training using the National Safety Council nationally recognized program. Our immediate surrounding areas are New Bern, Kinston, Goldsboro, Washington, and Jacksonville North Carolina... Since its beginning in 2007, Safe Steps Training has been making its "footprint" in the area of Safety. In 2007 with the training program that won national honors from the U.S. Department of Labor Mine Safety & Health Administration, presenting at the 31st NC Mine Safety Conference in 2008, and due to growth and demand added Mitch Harris, Jr. to the team in 2010. Also in 2010 we were blessed to be able to open our training facility in New Bern, NC. 2011 brought more growth and we brought home 1st Place at the Annual Training Materials Competition (TRAM) for PotashCorp.
