John Huber

John was born and raised in Knoxville, TN. He graduated from Knoxville Catholic High School in 1986 and from the University of Tennessee in 1992. Learning he had a passion for real estate, John started his real estate career in 1996 by earning his Affiliate Broker's license. John furthered his knowledge of the industry in 1999 when he received his contractor's license and in 2004 when he received his Broker's license and subsequently opened his real estate firm, Southern Signature Real Estate. John learned the value of hard work from his father who owned several successful businesses in Knoxville over 40 years. Through working with his father, John learned that ‘the only way to predict the future is to create it yourself'. With this approach, John has created multiple successful companies that coincide with his passion for real estate development. John is heavily involved with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) and their goal to help find a cure for blood cancer. John was named Knoxville's Leukemia and Lymphoma's Man of the Year in 2019 for his record-breaking fundraising campaign. John also feels a strong calling to support the less fortunate of east Tennessee by developing affordable housing. Through his collaboration with Volunteer Housing Partnership [a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization], John is able to leverage his knowledge and connections in the real estate and construction industries to provide safe, clean and affordable housing for those in need.
