Daniel Lustig

Daniel's practice involves litigating serious personal injury and complex business litigation cases. Daniel's business litigation practice involves complex business and intellectual property litigation disputes in the areas of trademark and copyright infringement, trade secret litigation, false advertising, unfair competition, franchise related litigation, breach of contract claims, partnership disputes, fraud claims, denials of insurance coverage and litigation related to multi-million dollar loans and personal guarantees. In addition, Daniel counsels clients in the protection of their intellectual property rights, businesses and prosecutes the registration of Trademarks with the United States Patent and Trademark Office and copyrights with the United States Copyright Office. Daniel's personal injury practice involves the representation of clients injured as a result of serious auto accidents and those who are the victims of negligent security. Daniel litigates and has secured significant results for his personal injury clients. Daniel was born in San Jose, Costa Rica and moved to West Palm Beach, Florida in December of 1997. Daniel graduated from Florida Atlantic University, where he was named to the Dean's List and was inducted into the National Political Science Honor Society. Daniel earned a Master of Science in International Affairs from Florida State University, and his law degree and a Master of Laws in Intellectual Property from the University of New Hampshire School of Law. While in law school, Daniel competed in the commercial arbitration team at the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Vienna, Austria, and later coached the Law School's International Commercial Arbitration team. Daniel also clerked for a staff legal counsel office of Liberty Mutual Insurance Company defending personal injury, products liability, premises liability and workers compensation cases, and for a Coral Gables law firm assisting in a copyright infringement lawsuit involving the Trump Towers in North Miami Beach. After serving as Special Prosecutor of the State Attorney's Office and working as an associate for some of the most prestigious personal injury and complex commercial litigation law firms in South Florida, Daniel opened his law firm with partner, Michael Pike. Daniel is a member of the Florida Bar Association, the Palm Beach County Bar Association, the Palm Beach County Justice Association, the American Bar Association, and the South Palm Beach County Bar Association. Robert C. "Burr" Johnson

Robert C. "Burr" Johnson is a partner in Pike & Lustig's Personal Injury and Commercial Litigation practices. His practice is focused on catastrophic injury cases and complex business disputes. Since joining Pike & Lustig, Robert has been responsible for some of the most significant trial results throughout the State of Florida. This includes what is believed to be the largest wrongful death jury verdict in the history of Palm Beach County. Robert's recent trial verdicts include: $80.0 Million - Palm Beach County. $23.9 Million - Broward County. $10.4 Million - Broward County. $7.6 Million - Pasco County. $2.9 Million - Spokane, WA. Robert is the fourth generation of his family to practice law in Palm Beach County. His great-grandfather, A.R. Johnson, was one of the early pioneers of West Palm Beach. His grandfather, Thomas H. Johnson, was a long time Circuit Court judge in Palm Beach County, who also served in the Florida Senate and as the first elected State Attorney for Palm Beach County. His mother is an elected Circuit Court Judge in Palm Beach County and has served on the bench since 2002. Robert's father and two uncles are also civil litigators in West Palm Beach. Terence Lenamon

Stuart L. Hartstone is an attorney at Pike & Lustig, LLP. Prior to joining Pike & Lustig, Stuart served as the Senior Supervising Trial Court Law Clerk for the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit. Over the course of his five-year tenure with the Circuit Court, Stuart trained and supervised dozens of judicial law clerks/staff attorneys, administered the Circuit Court's Criminal Appellate Division, and drafted a myriad of trial and postconviction court orders, appellate briefs, and legal memoranda. Stuart's experience is highly valuable to clients of the firm facing allegations of white-collar crime and other sophisticated business claims. Stuart is part of the firm's complex-commercial litigation division, where he applies his knowledge representing individuals and entities accused of quasi-criminal conduct in the civil divisions of Florida's state and federal courts, including patient brokering, anti-kickback violations, FDUTPA claims, civil RICO claims, False Claims Act violations, allegations of fraud, and other causes of action. Stuart earned his law degree from Florida International University College of Law in 2010 and began his career in Miami helping launch the Florida Capital Resource Center ("FCRC"), a nonprofit organization dedicated to the defense and mitigation of death penalty cases. Serving as Acting Executive Director, Stuart drafted proposed legislation concerning the death penalty, provided litigation support to capital defense attorneys, and organized CLE training opportunities around the State. Simultaneously, Stuart also served as a part-time associate at FCRC founder Terence Lenamon's law firm, Lenamon Law, PLLC, where Stuart had the opportunity to join the defense team in several high-profile trials, including two death penalty trials to verdict. During this time, Stuart also gained significant appellate experience, drafting amicus curiae briefs in support of impact litigation both in Florida's appellate courts and the Supreme Court of the United States, including one brief filed on behalf of retired Florida circuit court judges in Hurst v. Florida, 577 U.S. 92 (2016), where the Supreme Court ultimately found Florida's (previous) death penalty statute unconstitutional. Stuart briefly continued his work at the Florida Center for Capital Representation at Florida International University College of Law, until the fall of 2015, when Stuart joined the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit as a Senior Trial Court Law Clerk where he spent the next five years serving the circuit court judges of Palm Beach County.
