Aaron has a hobby interest in graphic and information design, amateur coding, and a procedural design. He also enjoys 3D modeling and rendering to make art and digital props.
Mr. Baczkowski joined Trautman Associates in 2023 to re-focus on improving and enlivening educational facilities through design after nearly a decade of specializing in Building Information Modeled construction coordination.
His design and coordination experience-in both primary and secondary educational facilities-extends from post-disaster conditions surveys and modest maintenance projects through complete new builds of high schools and university facilities.
Alex is a huge sports fan, especially of the Boston Celtics, Manchester City FC and of course the Buffalo Bills! He is also the Head JV Basketball Coach at St. Francis High School. He enjoys traveling and ventured to Portofino, Cinque Terre, Milan, Manchester and London last year.
Mr. Alex Davis brings a wealth of experience and expertise to Trautman Associates as a dedicated Structural Engineer. Joining our team at the beginning of 2024, Alex boasts over 5 years of diverse industry experience, making him an invaluable asset to our firm.
A product of dedication and academic excellence, Alex graduated from St. Francis High School in 2014 before pursuing his passion for engineering at the University of Pittsburgh. In 2018, he earned his Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Structural Engineering, accompanied by a minor in Architecture.
Alex takes great pride in collaborating with Trautman's architects and fellow engineers to devise sustainable, innovative, and reliable solutions for our clients. His commitment to excellence is evident in his pursuit of professional certifications, having already achieved his EIT (Engineer-in-Training) certification and actively working towards obtaining his PE (Professional Engineer) license.
Alexis is an Afro-Latina, she is African American and Dominican! She was born and raised in NYC and enjoys photography outside of her work life.
Ms. Carrington joined us in 2022 as an interior designer!
Ms. Carrington completed her Associate degree at Alfred State College and transferred to Villa to complete her BFA degree in Interior Design. She was awarded the California Closets Scholarship Award in the Residential Design Studio, was awarded the Outstanding Student of the Year in 2022 and was inducted into the Delta Epsilon Sigma Honors Society. She served as project director for the NY 11+ student exhibit displayed at the Port Authority in New York City and participated in the Junior League of Buffalo Show House in 2021. Her thesis focused on Affordable Housing and was inspired by her personal experience and her overall passion for designing healthy and inclusive spaces.
Amanda enjoys kayaking through the Buffalo River and loves spending time with her two dogs.
Ms. Peterson joined Trautman Associates in 2022 as a summer intern and returned to us in the summer of 2023 as a full-time employee!
She finished her Bachelor of Architecture at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with minors in Sustainability Studies and Studio Arts.
Amanda has her Bachelor's in Art Education, and sells her artwork at craft shows. Her work includes abstract paintings, ceramics, and crochet!
Mrs. McNally joined us as the Marketing Director in 2022.
Her position includes managing Trautman Associate's social media, writing and organizing proposals, and creating the advertisements you may see in the papers!

Mr. Vaillancourt is the firm's director of educational design and brings more than 16 years of experience to the school districts he serves. He is thoroughly knowledgeable of NYS Education Department processes and regulations and how districts can maximize State aid effectively over time. His thoughtful approach to design and his ability to work closely with school administrators, teachers, facility managers and Boards of Education makes him a valuable asset to any educational design project.
Caitlin loves to travel! Here's some of the places she's been: Paris, London & Stonehenge.
Caitlin brings her passion for interior design and her commitment to professional development to our team at Trautman Associates!
A graduate of Buffalo State College with a BFA in Interior Design, she possesses a keen eye for detail and a creative flair that enriches our projects. As a Board Member of the IIDA Buffalo City Center, Caitlin serves as the Communications Chair, demonstrating her dedication to fostering connections and advancing the field. With her expertise and leadership, she elevates our work and ensures excellence in every aspect of our design process.
Mr. Paroyan is a well-rounded professional architect with over 20 years of experience working both in the United States and Canada. He has performed every aspect of design, including project manager/captain for clients, specializing in educational, healthcare, sports facilities. As an architect and a former owner of a private practice, he understands the challenges Owner's face when balancing design and function with cost and schedule.

Dan is an electrical engineer originally from Albany, New York, who graduated from UB in 2017. He is also an Eagle Scout and spent 2 ½ weeks in Europe as part of an immersive exchange program where he traveled to Germany, France and Luxembourg.
Mr. Stuart joined Trautman Associates' electrical engineering team full-time in 2017 after spending six months on our staff as an intern. Since then, he has applied electrical engineering design for renovation and repair projects for diverse market sectors including city and state government clients, K-12 education, and commercial clients. He is also working on our solar/photovoltaic and wind projects.
Mr. Wozniak joined Trautman Associates in 2019.
He started as an intern and joined us full-time after graduating from the University at Buffalo. Since joining, he has worked on some of our biggest projects, including Seneca One!
Ms. Harris joined our architecture team in 2022!
She recently graduated from UB with her Master's in architecture and shows a particular interest in the intersection of sustainability, community resilience and design.
Mr. Radwan has 34 years of professional experience and has been a registered architect for 25 years. His experience includes governmental, industrial, ecclesiastic, and corporate design, fitness facilities, general commercial, assisted living, and retail design. He has extensive knowledge of the New York State Building Code.
Mr. Corda is experienced in refrigeration systems and chiller plants along with the accompanying control systems. He also works with our energy simulation and modeling team performing energy studies for buildings. He pays attention to detail and is particularly adept at managing construction administration. Mr. Corda joined Trautman Associates in 2015 and has already made significant contributions to our clients' engineering needs.

Mr. Daly has over 30 years in the engineering / construction industry and is a respected expert in his field. His advocacy of sustainable design practices, technologies, policies, and standards makes him a knowledgeable and valuable resource for any project. Mr. Daly's experience as a board certified building inspection engineer brings added value when evaluating buildings for adaptive reuse. Mr. Daly enjoys facilitating a collaborative design process engaging the entire project team.
Kara is a certified Notary Public and is our Chief Snack Officer and is a Professional Cell Phone Screen Cracker.
Ms. DeFranco contributes critical organizational capabilities to ensuring our office is managed effectively. She juggles many hats to accomplish this objective - everything from managing daily office operations to providing human resource services. She controls correspondence, reviews and analyzes special reports, controls inventory, and monitors critical functions of the firm. She also maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and establishing personal networks by participating in professional societies.
Kelly has a minor in music and enjoys performing with local ensembles!
Mrs. McElhaney has managed the full spectrum of architectural services for several million-dollar-plus projects in the multi-unit residential, educational, commercial/retail, and hospitality market sectors. She joined Trautman Associates in 2016, bringing with her six years of professional experience. She is a member of the AIA Northern Virginia's Women in Architecture Committee and the Coast Guard Spouses Club of DC.
Kyle likes to spend his weekends riding and working on motorcycles and going to see stand-up comedians. Also, Kyle is a former competitive power-lifter!
Mr. Marsh interned with Trautman Associates during the summer of 2018 and joined the firm as a graduate architect in May 2019. He graduated from the University at Buffalo with a degree in architecture and a minor in urban planning, where he was part of the U.S. Department of Energy Solar Decathlon team.
Mr. Albano brought eight years of prior civil/structural engineering experience with him to Trautman Associates. Mr. Albano is particularly knowledgeable about NYS Building Code, evaluation of engineering properties of different soils used in building construction, concrete field evaluation and laboratory strength testing, block masonry wall inspection and strength testing, re-bar inspection, and asphalt evaluation and density testing.

Mr. Petryk has 14 years of professional experience in electrical design and power engineering projects with Trautman Associates. He leads our electrical engineering professionals, providing consistently superior electrical engineering design. He has provided professional services for a variety of clients including the educational, commercial, and institutional market sectors. Mr. Petryk is also the cornerstone of the firm's solar and wind energy projects.
Ms. Scroger is a licensed architect and provides interior design and project management for our clients in many market sectors. She uses a combination of client-based focus and community spirit in order to excel at her work with our mission-based, non-profit clients. She is a talented designer, always keeping an eye on client budgets and phasing opportunities to ensure long term project success.
Mark has return to Buffalo after working in NYC for the past 25+ years!
Mr. Daly came to Trautman from the banking and finance world with his MBA from the University of Chicago.
Here at Trautman, he helps clients maximize their performance statements, assists in project due diligence, reviews finance and cash flow requirements. His work also includes assuring design conformance with incentive programs such as Brownfield tax credits, Historic Preservative tax credits, IDA incentives, as well as numerous other incentive programs. In addition to all this, Mark also assists in computer studies, value engineering studies, and revenue enhancement strategies.
Matt spends his free time backpacking in the Adirondacks, playing disc golf, and exercising his overweight cat!
Mr. Flanagan joined Trautman as an intern in the summer of 2023!
He is in in the midst of earning his Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering degree at the University of Buffalo. In addition to interning with us and working on his bachelors, Mr. Flanagan also participates in UB's extracurricular program, Nanosat, which entails students working with the Air Force Research Lab, NASA, and Moog, Inc. to build satellites from concept to launch.

Mr. LaValley, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, joined Trautman Associates as an architect in 2021.
He has over 13 years of experience with K-12, collegiate and private commercial clients. When not working, he can be found running Evolving Architect, a career blog he founded!

Nicole's husband is also an architect, and the two met in grad school! The pair have a fearless little girl and a black lab mix rescue dog.
Nicole is an art history, foodie, and nature lover to her core and enjoys taking adventures around the world or hiking in the Adirondak!
Ms. White joined Trautman in 2023 as a seasoned architect with a strong academic background.
Graduating from the University at Buffalo in 2009, she holds both a Master of Architecture degree and an MBA with a concentration in marketing.
Nicole brings a wealth of expertise to the table, having successfully completed a diverse range of commercial projects, with a notable focus on the hospitality sector. Dedicated to professional growth, Nicole achieved licensure as an architect in 2019, further enhancing her ability to lead and contribute to our architectural endeavors. Her creative insights and strategic mindset have played a key role in delivering exceptional results for our clients.
Nolan has worked as both a basketball and golf coach in previous summers!
Mr. Phillips joined Trautman Associates as an intern for the summer of 2022!
He is currently attending the University of Buffalo to get a degree in Civil Engineering.
Peter is also a performing musician specializing in guitar, banjo, and the singing saw.
Mr. Latona recently joined the team in 2022 as an Office Manager!
Peter is the backbone of Trautman and works in the print room managing file organization, coordinating learning seminars, and performing a variety of supportive tasks throughout the office.
Peter has difficulty in trying to catch his 2-year-old granddaughter!
Mr. Klemann joined the Trautman team in 2023 to help with building code compliance.
He came to us with 15 years of supervisory experience in building code review with a local municipality,15 more years as a building inspector, and 20 years as a tradesman. Talk about experience!
A Buffalo native, Ms. Moussa holds a bachelors and masters in architecture from the University at Buffalo. Ms. Moussa brings with her an international perspective, having studied abroad in Europe and worked with an international team on a project in the Middle East.
She is a well-rounded professional. She previously worked as an interior designer and project coordinator with a variety of clients and various preferred aesthetics. Ms. Moussa enjoys designing both commercial and residential buildings and spaces. She has experience in creating renders and detailed drawings.
Rebecca is not only working hard on the job, but at home too! She is working on renovating her newly bought house.
Mrs. Tyx joined out team in 2021!
She recently graduated from the University of Buffalo with her masters in Architecture and is working hard to obtain her license using NCARB's Architectural Experience Program.
Mr. Radwan is a strong technical architect and is particularly adept at progressing a project from conceptual design to built, identifying solutions to design challenges along the way. He transitions easily between the roles of architect and project manager and develops strong relationships with our clients' facility and project managers. Mr. Radwan has extensive experience working with government, educational, and commercial clients. A registered architect since 1994, Mr. Radwan has been with Trautman Associates for 30 years.

Mr. Stelianou is the firm's president and also serves as leader of the civil and structural engineering group. He has 40+ years of diverse consulting experience that includes building structure and site design, design of athletic fields, building envelope investigations, design of swimming pool systems, building condition surveys and forensic investigations.
Rossella is fluent in Italian!
Ms. Giangreco-Marotta joined our architecture team in 2021!
In 2021 she graduated from the University at Buffalo with a Master's in Architecture , and in 2019, she received her Bachelor's in Italian Language & Literature as well Architecture from University at Buffalo. While at school, she co-founded the Italian Student Association! She is working hard to obtain her license in architecture using NCARB's Architectural Experience Program.
Mr. Noonan interned at Trautman Associates as he completed his degree at SUNY University at Buffalo and joined the firm in 2016 as a graduate engineer upon his graduation. He has transitioned seamlessly from the academic environment to real-world engineering, where he has concentrated on HVAC and energy-related design.
Tom has 9 years of experience in the Software Engineering industry. He is originally from Binghamton, New York.
Mr. Steven joined Trautman in 2023 and brings valuable expertise to our Electrical Engineering team.
A proud alumnus of the Universtity at Buffalo, Thomas earned his Bachelor of Science in 2015 and later pursued a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, graduating in 2022. With a passion for innovation and a strong educational foundation, Mr. Steven contributes to our projects with a wealth of knowledge and a commitment to excellence. His skills and dedication make him an integral part of the team!

Tim is the leader of a Cub Scout Pack in his hometown. He leads that group of 40 kids and their parents on lots of outdoor adventurers throughout the year.
Mr. Rider has more than 25 years of professional experience. He has successfully worked with both public and private sector clients on a wide variety of projects including new buildings, historic renovations, LEED-certified projects, extensive reconstructions and various planning tasks. As a primary client contact, his specific responsibilities include project management, space planning, design and detailing, document production, and field supervision.
