Apurva brings to UAB 14 years of experience in Natural Resource Management. Former Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Forest Management, Ministry of Environment and Forests, he has served as Project Manager at the International Tropical Timber Organization (ITTO), Yakohama, Japan. A former Consultant as Non-Wood Forest Produce (NWFP) Expert for Government of Uttar Pradesh, Apurva has also authored three books on issues related to Natural Resource Management and Sustainable Forest Management.
Mukti Sadhan brings to UAB more than 40 years of experience in agricultural research and management, both at national and international levels. He started his career at the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR, DARE-Ministry of Agriculture, Govt. of India) where he has served in various capacities, including Director of the National Research Centre for Groundnut (Gujarat). After spending 36 years in ICAR, Mukti Sadhan was a Visiting Scientist at ICRISAT-CGIAR (Hyderabad); UNIDO International Consultant on Aflatoxin (Malawi, Africa); Vice President Product Research & Development at Krishidhan Seeds Ltd. (Maharashtra); Independent Consultant Business Planning & Development, NAIP-ICAR (New Delhi); Consultant (Seed) at Hindustan Insecticides Ltd., a Govt. of India Enterprise (New Delhi); and Senior Advisor (Seed) at the National Cooperative Federation of India (New Delhi).

Formerly the Deputy General Manager of National Seeds Corporation Ltd., Surendra joined UAB as the General Manager Marketing in 2016. With a career spanning over 31 years in Indian agriculture, he brings to the Company extensive experience in seed production, quality control, marketing, among others. In addition, Surendra has served in the Planning Commission of the Government of India, in planning and budgeting of Annual & Five year plans of various Science & Technology departments of Central Ministries and States. During his career he has authored several research articles and peer reviewed publications.

For the past 8 years, as the Managing Director of UAB, Vijender has been instrumental in growing the company since its inception. A chartered account by profession, he was the Head of Finance at Jamna Auto Industries (a NSE listed company) and Director at Mount Shikhar Financial Services Ltd. immediately prior to joining UAB. Vijender hails from an agricultural family and understands the opportunities and challenges facing Indian farmers and the farming community.
