JEFF WOLFF

Jeff is a native of Ft. Worth, Texas and graduated from Trinity Valley School. He then attended LSU and graduated in 1994 with a degree in finance. After LSU, Jeff attended law school at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, where he was a member of the S.M.U. Law Review. In 1997, he graduated from S.M.U., cum laude, and was a member of the Order of the Coif. After graduation, Jeff spent the first ten years of his practice at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP and Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P., two of the largest law firms in the country. After representing Fortune 500 companies for a decade, Jeff joined Jordan, Houser & Flournoy, LLP, where he focused his practice on estate and probate litigation (including will contests), trust litigation, guardianships, the probate of wills and estate administration, and heirship proceedings. Jeff opened Wolff Law, PLLC in 2013 and continues to focus on these areas of practice. Jeff is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Dallas Bar Association, and the Probate, Trusts, and Estates Section of the Dallas Bar Association. From 2019-2020, Jeff served as Chair of the Probate, Trusts, and Estates sections of the Dallas Bar Association. Jeff is a former member of the golf team at LSU and still competes regularly in amateur golf tournaments at the state and national level.

NIKKI WOLFF

Nikki was born in Duncan, Oklahoma. She attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, where she graduated magna cum laude in 2001, with a B.B.A. in Accounting, and in 2002, with a Master's degree in Accounting. In 2002, Nikki joined the litigation consulting group at KPMG, which was then acquired by FTI Consulting, where she worked on a team as a consultant on damages valuation in various types of litigation matters. During that time, she gained the requisite work experience to sit for the CPA Exam and become a licensed CPA in 2003. In 2008, Nikki graduated from the SMU Dedman School of Law, cum laude. After her first 5 years of law practice at a probate firm in Dallas, she joined her husband, Jeff, at Wolff Law, PLLC in 2013. Throughout her legal career, Nikki has specialized in representing clients in disputes and litigation involving Estates, Trusts, and Guardianships. Nikki regularly serves as an Administrator of an Estate of a Decedent or Guardian of an Estate of a Ward upon Court appointment, many times serving at the specific request of her legal peers. By serving as a fiduciary herself, Nikki has gained invaluable experience and insight, which has made her a more knowledgeable and thorough attorney in the representation of others serving in a fiduciary role. Nikki also serves as an Attorney Ad Litem or Guardian Ad Litem in various Probate, Trust, and Guardianship matters upon appointment by a Probate Court. Nikki is certified by the State Bar of Texas to serve in these roles. Nikki is a member of the Real Estate, Probate and Trust Law Section of the State Bar of Texas, and a member of the Dallas Bar Association, Probate, Trusts, and Estates Section. She also has been named a Rising Star by Texas Super Lawyers. Nikki also speaks regularly at legal conferences on various probate, trust and guardianship matters.
