Dr. Aline Dufresne

Dr. Aline Dufresne joined Woodroffe Pediatric Dentistry in October 2018. Dr. Dufresne is a Montreal native and recent Ottawa transplant. From a young age, she was exposed to pediatric dentistry when she accompanied her dad to his pediatric dental office. She followed her father's footsteps and obtained her DMD at the University of Montreal in 2013. Immediately after graduation, she completed her residency in pediatric dentistry at the University of Maryland in Baltimore in 2015. Following her graduation, she practiced in the United States for a few years before moving back to Canada and settling in Ottawa. Dr. Dufresne's practice philosophy is to make every dental visit a positive experience for her patients. Besides offering in-office mild sedation and oral moderate sedation, Dr. Dufresne also provides treatment under general anaesthesia at the Ottawa Surgicentre. In her free time she enjoys traveling, baking, making pottery and spending time with her husband, 2 young daughters and their cat, Winston.

Dr. Gordon L. Roberts

Dr. Roberts has provided high quality pediatric dental care since 1988. He obtained his BSc from Carleton University in 1980, his DDS from McGill University in 1984 and his Master's Degree and certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from Ohio State University in 1988. Dr. Roberts completed a general practice residency at Montreal Children's Hospital and a pediatric dental residency at Columbus Children's Hospital / Ohio State University. He has provided comprehensive dental care for children in the Ottawa area since 1991. Dr. Roberts retired from providing clinical care in August 2022. He is the owner of Woodroffe Pediatric Dentistry and manages it with his wife, Lori Roberts.

Dr. Mahta Hazaveh

Dr. Mahta Hazaveh is a Pediatric Dentist at Woodroffe Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Hazaveh grew up in Sweden and graduated in dentistry from the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm in 2014 and then went on to complete a Master of Science degree in Dental Sciences from McGill University, Montreal, in 2017. Dr. Hazaveh practiced dentistry in the public setting in Sweden for a few years before moving to the United States, where she completed her residency in pediatric dentistry at Rutgers University in 2021. She received the annual New Jersey Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (NJAPD) resident recognition award for her exemplary services as a pediatric dental resident at the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine and her dedication to the dental health of children.

Dr. Ngoc Luong

Dr. Ngoc Luong has been a valued member of the Woodroffe Pediatric Dentistry team since January 2011. She completed her residency in pediatric dentistry at the University of Toronto, where she obtained her M.Sc. and pediatric specialty. Dr. Luong graduated in dentistry, also from the University of Toronto, in 1999. Following her graduation, she associated as a general dentist in several dental offices in Ottawa. In addition, she has worked in Northwestern Ontario, providing care for First Nations patients. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Luong enjoys traveling, particularly with other members of her family, and doing pottery.
