Founded in 1893, Wheeler is the oldest continuously operating ministry of its kind in the state of Indiana... Wheeler is a non-denominational, Christian, social services organization, which provides emergency care, recovery services, and Christ-centered transformation to individuals experiencing homelessness, poverty, and need in Central and South Central Indiana without regard to race, color, sexual orientation, creed, national origin, or religion... Our vision for Bloomington is simple: Provide life-changing help and restore people's hope through God's love. That means our doors are open to help any hurting man achieve life change-whether they need a good meal, a safe place to sleep, support to overcome an addiction, or spiritual guidance to build a relationship with Christ.
