She's worked across the social sector to co-create strategies, campaigns and policies with staff, trustees and volunteers. This includes engaging young trustees, implementing stakeholder feedback into governing documents, and movement building. Aggie supports organisations with their work on the Charity Governance Code. She has personal experience as the chair of a national youth charity. She's also an expert in inclusive facilitation. She uses non-formal education techniques to lead interactive sessions both in-person and online. Aggie previously worked as a social change consultant, a project manager and a mental health support worker. She uses a system change approach to problem solving and is passionate about making charity governance accessible. This includes developing strategies, policies, and frameworks, which integrate ethics within complex operational realities. In 2020, she successfully advocated for the inclusion of power dynamics in the Charity Governance Code's revised integrity principle. To support sector level work on understanding power, Alex co-founded of Power & Integrity in 2021. She is also a trustee for the Sophie Hayes Foundation and sits on their Risk and Finance committee.

Dan is NCVO's principal consultant. He oversees the work of our training and consultancy team. He specialises in charity governance and leadership. Dan joined NCVO in 2016. He oversees our consultancy and training practice, ensuring our services deliver results for clients and meet the needs of the sector. He's sat on the steering group for the Charity Governance Code for the last eight years and has co-authored its last two iterations. Dan has extensive experience in governance and board reviews, and trustee training. Since joining NCVO he's worked with a wide range of clients from local charities to national and international organisations. He's particularly interested in supporting effective board dynamics, the governance of complex membership organisations, and helping charities make the best decisions for the communities they serve. Dan's background is in the education and youth sector. He joined NCVO from the National Union of Students (NUS) where he supported the development of students' unions as charities. Gethyn Williams

Gethyn worked across the voluntary sector in England and Wales for 20 years before going freelance in 2020. He has experience working nationally and locally, both at the front line and within infrastructure organisations. Gethyn mainly works with smaller charities and poorly resourced parts of the sector. Through this he's learned how to do more with less. He now specialises in helping charities to get the most out of the assets they have. Gethyn is an experienced senior manager and programme lead. Gill has expertise in the education, charity, health, and economic development sectors. She's worked in evaluation for 15 years, including nine years with NCVO. Gill also works with large scale research agencies such as NatCen and Kantar Public and runs her own independent research consultancy business. She recently supported NCVO with an evaluation for St John's Ambulance. She was responsible for combining, analysing and reporting on their monitoring data. Harriet was a staff member in the NCVO Charities Evaluation Services team between 2013 and 2021 and is now one of our associate consultants. Harriet has extensive experience of managing independent evaluations, including theory of change-based planning, qualitative and quantitative data collection, reporting and supporting organisations to use evaluation findings. She also provides training and consultancy on impact. Harriet has worked with organisations including St John Ambulance, the Alzheimer's Society and BBC Children in Need.

He helped set up the Baobab Foundation. The Baobab Foundation is the UK's first funder entirely focussed on supporting Black and racially minoritized individuals, groups and organisations. She is a trustee of Youth Access and has experience of working at a senior level for a local Mind Association and Cambridge House community settlement project. Whilst working for the National Union of Students, Karen created a Code of Good Governance an interactive online self-assessment toolkit for Students' Unions across the UK. She also produced guidance for higher education institutions which gained endorsement from the Committee of University Chairs. She is a qualified coach, Neuro-Linguistic Programming practitioner, trainer and an experienced action learning set facilitator.

Lev's experience includes working with NHS England to build governance structures for voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) alliances. Lev helped develop our consortia help and guidance. Lucy supports people and organisations to create social change and improve their work through effective evaluation. She's worked on projects ranging from local community events and social justice campaigns, to multi-million-pound initiatives affecting thousands of people. Lucy joined NCVO from the University of Manchester. There she led evaluations of initiatives supporting underrepresented groups in higher education. Sally has been an evaluation consultant since 1999 and was head of our NCVO Charities Evaluation Services team until early 2021. Sally has been involved in over 30 external evaluations, leading on most. She is a mixed-methods evaluator with particular expertise in evaluating health and social care programmes and pilot multi-site initiatives. Most of her evaluations focus on process, outcome and impact. Sally has helped many organisations build their evaluation capacity through training and consultancy, including theory of change and evaluation planning. She also mentors staff in evaluation, working with people new to evaluation and with established evaluators. Sally has made a significant contribution to the practice of evaluation in the UK, writing some of the first widely-used publications in the field, developing award-winning training and contributing to UK-wide initiatives to improve evaluation skills.
