BRUCE SMITH LAW

Bruce was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Northwestern University and began working in downtown Chicago as a sales executive for Xerox Corporation. After six enjoyable and successful years, he left Xerox to attend law school. Bruce graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he was a member of the Virginia Law Review. Upon graduation, Bruce and his wife, Laura, moved to Lexington, Kentucky where he joined, and later became a partner in, the firm of Wyatt Tarrant and Combs. In addition to his other areas of practice, in Lexington, Bruce represented many equine clients and Thoroughbred racing entities. In 2002, Bruce and Laura relocated to Northern Virginia where he practiced law in Fairfax County. Over the course of his professional career Bruce has been invited to lecture at numerous state and national legal conferences on topics including legal ethics, equine liability, eminent domain, and litigation tactics...
