Deafness Foundation was established in 1973 to act as an umbrella organisation, forum and information exchange and speak with a united voice for the deaf and hard of hearing in the community. The Foundation has evolved over the years however our focus has remained the same, to support the deaf and hard of hearing in the community... The Deafness Foundation is a cause that aims to improve well-being and promote equality for people who are deaf and hard of hearing by focusing on Accessibility, Awareness, Diagnosis, Treatment and Prevention... At Deafness Foundation, our Mission is to enhance the lives of people with hearing loss and to reduce the incidence of preventable hearing loss.
