Anne Marie Gerver

Anne Marie Gerver has been a assigned civil-law notary since April 2022. She started as a candidate civil-law notary with Hartman LMH since October 2015. Her work consists of advise and assistance to companies and individuals at real estate transactions and the preparation and drafting of real estate purchase agreements, deeds of transfer, deeds of apartment rights division and deeds of issue and amendment of long lease and building rights. Anne Marie studied notarial and civil law at the University of Groningen from 2005 to 2010. During this period she also attended one semester at McGill University in Montreal. In early 2011 she began her career as a candidate civil-law notary at NautaDutilh N.V. Anne Marie is a board member of the Association of Young Real Estate Lawyers (Vereniging Onroerend Goed Juristen) and a member of the Royal Dutch Association of Civil-Law Notaries (Koninklijke Notariële Beroepsorganisatie).

Hugo Harleman

Hugo Harleman started in 2003 as notary-candidate in the property section of a big law firm. Since September 2009 he has been a partner at Hartman LMH. His specialization is in the set up and preparation of real estate projects. These include newly built properties (houses, utilities and the division of integrated buildings) and existing properties (urban redevelopment). Furthermore, he manages the legal side of commercial real estate transactions and he is highly skilled and knowledgeable regarding the fiscal aspects of real estate, such as VAT and transfer tax (stamp duty). After obtaining his Notarial Law degree at the University of Groningen in 2003, Hugo Harleman then undertook the professional notarial training programme of the SBN (Stichting Beroepsopleiding Notariaat. He completed this in 2006, passing his exam for the specialized Real Estate course ‘‘Grotius Onroerend Goed specialisatieopleiding''. Hugo keeps his professional know-how up to date by following courses and seminars through his membership of the "Stichting tot Bevordering der Notariele Wetenschap and his membership of the VJOJ (Association of Young Real Estate Lawyers).

Lex Hartman

Lex Hartman is one of the partners and founders of Hartman LMH and is highly specialized in real estate project development and property transactions. Lex Hartman has been active in Civil Notarial Law since 1992. He became a partner at Boekel de Neree in 2002. Lex was co-author of the section on the division of apartment rights in the Manual of "Registergoederenrecht" and was Chairman of the Commission of the Royal Notarial Professional organization (KNB) which set in 2017 down the model rules for division of property.

Lianne Aartman

Lianne joined Hartman LMH as a notary-candidate in the beginning of 2019. Lianne is since March 2016 active as a notary-candidate within other notary firms. Her primary focus is commercial real estate, which includes discussing purchase contracts, mortgages, new developments, long lease and (amending) division rights. Lianne studied notarial law at the University of Amsterdam. In 2019, she finalized succesfully the professional notarial training programme of the Stichting Beroepsopleiding Notariaat (SBN). Lianne is a member of the Vereniging van Jonge Onroerend Goed Juristen (VJOJ, Association of Young Real Estate Lawyers).
