Through cooperation with other agencies, the OSSA helps to educate and train both law enforcement and public alike... The online Oregon Concealed Handgun License (CHL) handgun safety training program, offered by the Oregon State Sheriffs' Association, promotes gun safety while supporting sheriff's offices. OSSA and Oregon sheriffs believe in, and take an oath to uphold, the Constitutions of the State of Oregon and the United States of America.
