Dr. Hurtado completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. He takes a special interest in dentoalveolar surgery, dental implantology, office-based anesthesia, and bone grafting. Dr Hurtado is a master in his profession and is kind and makes his patients feel comfortable and relaxed. I couldn't refer him more highly. Dr. Hurtado received his undergraduate degree from the University of New Mexico, our state's oldest and largest university.

Some of Dr. Healy's featured procedures, like dental implant surgery, are not covered by insurance. Because of this, our surgeon does everything in his power to help patients afford his life-changing care. If you do choose to receive implants, portions of your treatment may be covered. Our practice is pre-authorized with the biggest insurance providers and most carriers in general. We also accept third-party financing through CareCredit®. Dr. Sean Healy is an honorably discharged U.S. Navy Lieutenant Commander. He has been changing lives through the power of dentistry since 2006. He initially practiced in Texas, handling complex facial trauma cases for emergency patients. His skill and consistency allowed him to rise to the position of partner at Brazos Valley Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Despite his success, our surgeon wanted change. Dr. Healy chose to come to Santa Fe to enjoy a better lifestyle and to focus on what he loves to do most - place life-changing dental implants. As the owner of the Oral Surgery and Dental Implant Center of Santa Fe, he is able to set his own standards for quality of care, patient comfort, and more. Dr. Healy completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from the University of Texas Medical Branch. After practicing for nearly a decade in College Station, TX, he and his family moved to Santa Fe and opened our practice.
