Dr. Francisco Aguilo-Seara has more than 20 years of medical training and experience. He is board-certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. He was born in Puerto Rico, where his father was a retired lawyer and judge from Puerto Rico. His mother was from Galicia, Spain, where she earned a pharmacy degree before marrying and eventually moving to Puerto Rico with her husband and eldest son. Dr. Seara attended college at La Universidad Catolica and later moved to the U.S. to complete his Medical Degree at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He met his wife in Washington, D.C., while completing his residency at the George Washington University Medical Center. Dr. Seara has three children and when not working, he loves to spend time boating, practicing Aikido and playing sports with his wife and children.

Dr. Vanessa Kuwajima is a board-certified gastroenterologist who provides comprehensive care for gastrointestinal and liver diseases. She has a particular interest in esophageal motility disorders, quality measures in endoscopy and women-related issues in gastroenterology. Dr. Kuwajima spent much of her academic and professional GI career in at the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO. There she focused on patient-centered inpatient consultation services, safely transitioning patients from inpatient to outpatient care and advancing the highest quality delivery of digestive health care. During her tenure at MU, she assumed multiple leadership positions, including directorship of the GI fellowship program. She moved to Florida with her loving husband and four children to be closer to family and enjoy the state's beautiful landscape. Dr. Kuwajima looks forward to providing care for patients in Rockledge and the surrounding communities.

Joy Rideout, Billing Coordinator, joined the staff in early 2007. With more than a decade of billing experience, she helps things run smoothly behind the scenes. Joy works alongside an experienced front office staff who handle the charts, scheduling and paperwork that come with seeing more than 600 patients every month.
