We are… the White Rock Power and Sail Squadron, a not-for-profit organization formed in 1961 and one of 21 squadrons of the Pacific Mainland District of the national Canadian Power and Sail Squadrons (CPS) organization. CPS is a Canadian registered non-profit organization of boating enthusiasts with approximately 26,000 members in 159 squadrons located across Canada. CPS celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2013... We are students… who want to learn more about boating. CPS and White Rock Power & Sail Squadron don't just stop with the introductory courses. We offer classroom courses in more advanced navigation, weather, marine electronic navigation, marine maintenance, sailing, radar, and more... We are educators… who are trained and certified to teach all CPS boating courses using modern teaching methods.
