Amanda Coop

Amanda has called Memphis and Second Presbyterian Church her home since 2009. She grew up in southern Illinois, earned a degree in Marketing from Murray State University, and is working toward a Master of Business Administration degree at the University of Memphis. Her past work experience includes Campus Outreach, Advance Memphis, and the Bryce Corporation. In addition to serving as the Director of Engagement, Amanda provides support to the Senior Pastor.

Annie Mahrt

Annie graduated from Murray State University and served as Campus Staff at the University of North Texas before becoming the Women's Area Coordinator for several schools in the Texas region. She then moved to Memphis, TN in 2016 to marry Nate, serving alongside him as Campus Staff at Rhodes College before transitioning to serve as Women's Area Coordinator for several schools in the Memphis region. She now serves as the Women's Regional Director, shepherding staff women from all eight schools in the Memphis region. Annie is from Kentucky, and she and Nate have two children, Elliot and Grace Ann.

Audrey Hamm

Audrey grew up in the Memphis area and graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Recreational Therapy. She has worked previously in disability ministry administration and leadership, adaptive sports, and behavioral therapy. She is currently pursuing a masters degree in Behavior Analysis. Before coming on staff with Second, she worked as a behavioral therapist at Autism Centers of Tennessee. Audrey is passionate about supporting the the disability community and is eager to serve our congregation and city in this capacity.

Bradley Morrow

Brad is a native of Jackson, TN and graduated from the University of Memphis with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration in Marketing. He is currently working towards an M.Div. from Memphis City Seminary. While in college, he met his wife, Bri, and the two married in 2021. Upon graduating college, Brad joined the Memphis Fellows Program. Before beginning the pastoral residency program here at Second, Brad served as our Recreation Coordinator.

Brett Wynne

Brett graduated from the University of Memphis in 2006 and then served on staff with Campus Outreach for seven years. In the summer of 2014, Brett joined the Second staff as one of the first pastoral interns in a program called LAUNCH. In 2018, he became an Assistant Pastor and began serving as head of the LAUNCH pastoral residency program. In 2021, Brett accepted the task of overseeing all our ministry to young adults here at 2PC. In this role, he works alongside pastors Brandon Terry and Barton Kimbro as the team seeks to establish and equip this age group to know, obey, and retell the gospel of Jesus Christ in every aspect of their lives. Brett and his wife, Rachel, have three children.

Brian Lewis

Brian grew up in Selma, Alabama, and he graduated from Samford University. He joined Second staff in 1996 as the Regional Director of Campus Outreach Memphis. In 2018, Brian became the Director of Domestic Outreach at Second, while continuing to serve as the Network Director for the South/Southwest Network of Campus Outreach. Brian is married to Joanne, and they have three children.

Calvin Ellis

Calvin Ellis is a Memphis native, raised in Millington, TN and a graduate of Millington Central High School. He attended the University of Mississippi and graduated with a degree in Music Education. Calvin began his career as a public school choral director in 2002 at Shadowlawn Middle School. After continuing his career at Tupelo High School and Opelika High School in Opelika, AL. Calvin and Jauna, along with their two children, Caleb and Carrington, moved back to Memphis. Calvin now serves as the Director of Choirs & Sunday Night Worship Leader.

Carrie Weber

Carrie is from Rocky Mount, NC and graduated from University of North Carolina in 2016. She moved to Thailand soon after to do evangelism and discipleship with Campus Outreach Chiang Mai. In 2022, she moved to Memphis where she now works for Campus Outreach on the Resource and Rhodes College teams with her husband, Nik.

Chase Presson

Both Chase and his wife Brittany graduated from the University of Memphis and have been serving with Campus Outreach since 2012. He currently serves as the Area Director over Rhodes College, the Campus Outreach resource office and our Senior Mobilization endeavors. Chase and Brittany have 3 children, Joshua, Jackson, Anna Ro.

Chris Devine

Chris has lived in Memphis since 2007. He worked with Campus Outreach in a variety of roles until February of 2022, when he transitioned from serving as Area Director with CO to serving as Recreation Director at Second. Chris and his wife Jen are both from St. Louis, MO and graduated from Southeast Missouri State University. They have 3 kids Dominic, James, Elaina.

Damon Conley

David Bowen

David is from Knoxville, TN, and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia. David planted The Church of the Good Shepherd in North Carolina, where he served as head pastor for twenty-nine years. David joined the staff at Second in the fall of 2014. He is married to Lee.

Dee Walker - COO

Dee joined our staff in September of 1998 as the assistant to what was then the Christian Education department. Since then, she has served in several different roles on both the pastoral and administrative sides. She joined Second in 2013. Dee grew up in North Dakota and graduated from the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University with a Bachelors of Music and Masters of Music degrees in both flute performance and music theory. She continues to play and teaches for the Second Conservatory.

Denny Catalano

Denny is a Korean American who grew up on military bases in Germany, southern Alabama and the Memphis area. He graduated from the University of Memphis where he and his wife, Michelle, were both led to Christ through the ministry of Campus Outreach. Denny is currently finishing his Master's degree from Reformed Theological Seminary. He and Michelle were married in 2010 and have 4 children, Luke, Eli, Ruthie, and Audrey.

Destiny Samuel

Destiny Samuel was born and raised in Saint Louis, MO. She served on staff with Campus Outreach for five years before joining the Women in Ministry team.

Donna Sanders

Donna studied Biblical Studies at Central Bible College in Springfield, MO, and earned her associate's degree of Applied Science in Mortuary Studies at Northwest Community College. She has served in a variety of roles at Second as an OASIS Team Member, Divorce Recovery Facilitator, and Inquirers Hostess. Before coming to Second, Donna worked as a Funeral Director and Mortician and in children's ministry for several years. She was a Co-Founder and Manager of Royal Family Kids Camp in Desoto County, MS, from 2000 to 2008. She is married to her husband, Jerry, and they have two children.

Faith Hampton

Faith Reid grew up in St. Louis, MO with a fun loving family and a 5lb dog named Nuggett. She began developing her relationship with God in middle school and has been on an incredible journey since! She is very excited to encourage middle school girls in their personal relationship with Christ. Before joining the staff at 2PC, Faith taught middle school science. She learned to love teaching, and Memphis, through the teacher training program known as MTR. Prior to moving to Memphis, she attended school at Spelman College where she made life-long friends and learned to commit everything she does to the Lord. Faith loves eating food from different cultures, playing board games, walking, and doing anything else that involves spending time with people (or her fur buddies Daisy and Annie). Although she would not consider herself an athlete, she has played on a flag football team since arriving to Memphis in 2016. Memphis brings out the best in her! Faith is so excited to serve at 2PC, a place she has grown to love since becoming a member in 2017.

George Robertson

Dr. George W. Robertson earned his baccalaureate degree from Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, GA, his Master in Divinity and Master in Theology degrees from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, MO, and his Doctor of Philosophy degree in Historical and Theological Studies from Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, PA. Before coming to Second, he served as Senior Pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Augusta, GA, pastor of Covenant Presbyterian Church in St. Louis, and as lecturer/adjunct professor at Covenant Theological Seminary. He currently serves as a council member for The Gospel Coalition.

Ginny Atkinson

Ginny is a native Memphian and graduate of White Station High School and University of Memphis. She has been a long time member of Second Presbyterian Church and the Chancel Choir. She joined 2PC as administrative assistant to the Music Ministry in February of 2015.

Jay Tayloe - CFO

Jay is a native Memphian who graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor's degree in accounting. He returned to Memphis to gain his Master's degree, also in accounting, from the University of Memphis. Before joining the staff at Second, Jay worked at a local logistics firm and two local accounting firms.

Jessica Uke

Jessica is a Dallas, TX native who graduated from Arkansas State University with a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science. After graduating, she went on staff with Campus Outreach at Arkansas State for three years. She moved to Memphis in September 2020 to do college ministry at the University of Memphis. She joined the church and became a member soon after that. She is now working towards a Clinical Mental Health Degree from Harding University and helps lead young adult women through the Crossroads Sunday School.

Jon McGuirt

Jon served on staff with Campus Outreach in Memphis for seven years, and is currently a Pastoral Resident at Second. He received his bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Southeast Missouri State University in 2010 and is currently working towards earning his M.Div. from Reformed Theological Seminary. Jon and his wife, Mo, are currently raising support and preparing to relocate to Southeast Asia where Jon will finish the Pastoral Residency and where they desire to be church planters. They have two children.

Josh is an Assistant Pastor to Young Adults at Second. A native of Gainesville, GA, Josh studied English at Valdosta State University, where he graduated in 2013. He earned his M.Div. from Reformed Theological Seminary. He oversees the Refuge Sunday School class. He also provides leadership for the South parish. He is married to his wife, Alissa, and they have two sons, Beckham and Liam.

Kendall Magana

Kendall is a native of Texas. He has served with Campus Outreach since 2010. He previously worked at Murray State University for five years before becoming an Area Director over the University of Memphis and Arkansas Statue University. He now serves as Campus Director at the University of Memphis. Kendall and his wife Aimee have four children, Ella, Ava, Mack, and Emery.

Kevin McQuillen

Kevin graduated from Covenant College with a degree in Biblical Studies major before earning his Master of Arts in Biblical Studies from Reformed Theological Seminary. Before coming to Second, Kevin served at other churches in South Carolina, Florida, and Georgia. In 2016, he moved to Memphis with his wife, Nancy, and their three children to serve as the Youth Director at Second. In 2021, Kevin moved into the position of Director of Family Ministries, where he provides vision for and oversees the structure of ministry for all students here at 2PC, from birth to 12th grade.

Kirsten Scheel

Kirsten is from Haleyville, AL, and she graduated from the University of Memphis. She joined the Second staff in the summer of 2013 as the Early Childhood Coordinator.

Laurin Maddux

Laurin joined our church staff in June of 2021 as the Director of Shepherding Resources. In this role, she oversees programs that strengthen the congregation in their marriages, families, and relationships. She also provides guidance to programs that offer help in the way of recovery and restoration, including divorce recovery, grief support, and more. Laurin holds master's degrees in counseling and business and has extensive experience in both mental health work and program development. She has experience working with older children, adolescents, and adults. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has worked in a variety of therapeutic settings since 2008. In her free time, she can be found volunteering around Memphis, hanging out with her two adorable nephews, or working on a sewing project.

Lucy Stevens

Lucy grew up in Memphis and joined the Second staff as the Elementary Coordinator. She graduated from Furman University in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in history and worked as a seventh grade reading teacher before coming to Second. She and her husband, Will, have a daughter, Mary Lane. Lucy has been encouraged by how committed so many parents, grandparents, and church members are to serving the children of this congregation.

Mary Hannah

Mary Hannah is the Director of Women in Ministry. In addition, she serves as Professor of Old Testament at Memphis City Seminary. Mary enjoys teaching and training others to teach the Scriptures, especially in the context of the local church. She and her husband, Jeff, belong to the Graham/Waring parish.

Mary Raine Ivy

Mary Raine was born and raised in Memphis. After graduating from White Station High School in 2009, she went to Nashville, where she studied Human & Organizational Development at Vanderbilt University. After graduation, she moved to Houston, TX, where she worked in youth ministry at Christ the King Presbyterian for two years. Although her time in Texas affirmed her passion for ministry, she is excited to be back in the land of double names and pork barbecue. She is so excited to be a part of an incredible staff and a ministry that has had a deep impact on her.

Nik Weber

Nik was born and raised in Belleville, IL. He has served with Campus Outreach since 2016. Before moving to Memphis in 2020, Nik served two years with CO Serve in Chiang Mai, Thailand. He currently serves at Rhodes College as the Campus Director and is also a part of the CO Memphis Mobilization Team.

Philip James

Philip is a Pastoral Resident here at Second who helps lead the Crossroads Congregational Community (CC) of young adults. Prior to coming on staff with Second, he taught middle school English at Sherwood Middle through Memphis Teacher Residency, where he worked as a recruiter for 3 more years after teaching. Philip studied English at Wheaton College and UNC-Chapel Hill, and he graduated from UNC in 2014. Philip is married to Hannah, and they have a young son named Noah.

Richard Williamson

Richard was born and raised in Montgomery, AL with two older sisters by God-fearing parents. He attended the University of Alabama, and during that time held two ministry-adjacent positions. He ran the sound for Reformed University Fellowship and worked during the summers for Reformed Youth Ministries, a youth conference organization. Through those positions he grew to love ministry (specifically youth ministry) and is excited to be a full time part of the thriving youth ministry here at Second Presbyterian.

Robb is a native of Memphis and graduated from University of Memphis with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. In 2006 he joined the Second staff as Director of Communications and Technology. Before joining Second, Robb worked in advertising, as Director of Interactive Media for multiple agencies.

Sarah grew up in Memphis and has attended Second for most of her life. After graduating from TCU, she joined staff with Campus Outreach in 2019. Currently, she works on the administrative team and also serves at Rhodes College.

Sha Holliday

Sha is a native Memphian and has served for many years in our children's ministry as the director of our Parents' Day Out Program. She has one son and attends The Avenue Community Church, led by one of Second's ministry partners, Tim Johnson.

Shayla Wolfe

Shayla is originally from Acworth, Georgia and graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where she double majored in Spots Management and International Studies with a minor in Business Administration. She was involved in Campus Outreach during college and is passionate about using sports and recreation to advance the gospel, bridge divides, and create unity. She joined Second's staff in 2022.

Todd Erickson

Todd grew up in Clearwater, FL, and graduated from Covenant College with a B.A. in Biblical Studies. He joined the Second staff in May 2001 as the Director of Youth Ministry and in 2008 became the Student Ministries Director. In 2013, Todd became the Pastoral Executive, and he was ordained in December of that year. He now serves as Second's Pastor of Spiritual Formation. He and his wife, Lynn, are the parents of three grown children.

Will Nease

Will is a native Memphian who graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Public Relations. At Auburn, he was very involved with Reformed University Fellowship. He began working at Second as an intern in the youth department in summer 2011 and has since faithfully served on staff with our youth ministry in various capacities. In 2021, he moved into the position of Director of Senior High Ministry. Will and his wife, Mary, have two young daughters.

Yvonne Hardin

Yvonne grew up in Memphis and is a longtime member of Second. She has served in a variety of roles at Second, such as a children's Sunday School teacher and a Come and See discipleship leader. In 2010, she became the interim Director of Women in Ministry, and in 2014, she became the permanent Director. Currently, Yvonne serves as the Coordinator of Women in Ministry, in which she oversees all Bible studies, programs, and events for women that they implement.

Zach Katzman

Zach became a Christian in college at Murray State University and became involved in Campus Outreach soon after. He moved to Memphis in 2016 and serves the University of Memphis by engaging college students with the gospel and raising up the next generation of leaders for our city.
