During his career he has also worked with many small organisations; helping them to archive their collections, manage significant digital and analogue restoration projects, and successfully proposed that the first motion picture film collection be inscribed on the New Zealand UNESCO Memory of the World register.

Jamsheed Malik is an artist and art historian based in Nadigam, Shopiandistt, Kashmir. He received a BFA in Painting from the Institute of Music and Fine Arts, Kashmir University, Srinagar and an MFA in the History of Art from Kala Bhavana, Visva Bharati, Santiniketan. Malik was the recipient of the National Scholarship for Painting awarded by the Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India in 2009-11. His articles have been published in journals and art magazines such as Searching Lines (Journal of the Dept. of Art History, Kala Bhavana, Santiniketan) and Art News and Views (Kolkata). He has participated in many national workshops and seminars. Mitchell Whitelaw

Whitelaw is an academic, writer, and creative practitioner with interests in new media art and cultures, in particular-generative systems, data-aesthetics, and digital collections. His work has appeared in journals including; Leonardo, Digital Creativity, and Fibreculture. His current work spans materiality, data and culture, with a practical focus on creating ‘generous interfaces' for digital heritage. He has worked with institutions including the State Library of NSW, the National Archives, and the National Gallery of Australia; developing innovative interfaces to their digital collections. Mitchell is currently an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Arts and Design at the University of Canberra, where he leads the Digital Treasures program in the Centre for Creative and Cultural Research.
