Rao is an artist interested in the anxiety of communication and incomprehensibility via language and gibberish. Krishnapriya is a practicing visual artist with both a BA and MA in Painting from the Government College of Fine Arts, Chennai (2001-2007). She has participated in many group exhibitions and a few solo exhibitions, and is part of The Karuppu Art Collective, a group of artists based in Chennai, where she lives and works.

David Smith is currently Head of Digital at Asia Art Archive, Hong Kong and is responsible for the development of AAA's new digital strategy, and its presence across the web. Smith holds an MA in Film Archiving from the University of East Anglia, and has over 15 years experience working within the archive and international GLAM sector including: Europeana, an EC funded cultural data aggregator and advocacy organisation, Archives New Zealand, The Imperial War Museum, and the independent television network in the UK. During his career he has also worked with many small organisations; helping them to archive their collections, manage significant digital and analogue restoration projects, and successfully proposed that the first motion picture film collection be inscribed on the New Zealand UNESCO Memory of the World register.

Nasar is curator, writer, and Head of Research and Programmes, Asia Art Archive, Hong Kong. Formerly based in London, Nasar was director and co-founder of Green Cardamom, and has curated numerous international exhibitions including: Lines of Control: Partition as a Productive Space, Johnson Museum, Cornell University (2012) and Nasher Museum, Duke University (2013); Where Three Dreams Cross: 150 Years of Photography from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh, Whitechapel Gallery and Fotomuseum Winterthur (2010); and Karkhana: A Contemporary Collaboration, Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum (2005) and Asian Art Museum (2006). Nasar serves on the panel of judges for the V&A Jameel Prize, the editorial board of Tate Etc, Art Basel's crowdfunding partnership with Kickstarter; and on advisory panels for Delfina Foundation (UK), Rhode Island School of Design (USA) and San Art (Vietnam). Nasar is a former fellow of The Clore Leadership Programme (UK) and a Research Fellow at Goldsmiths College, London.
Jamsheed Malik is an artist and art historian based in Nadigam, Shopiandistt, Kashmir. He received a BFA in Painting from the Institute of Music and Fine Arts, Kashmir University, Srinagar and an MFA in the History of Art from Kala Bhavana, Visva Bharati, Santiniketan. Malik was the recipient of the National Scholarship for Painting awarded by the Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India in 2009-11. His articles have been published in journals and art magazines such as Searching Lines (Journal of the Dept. of Art History, Kala Bhavana, Santiniketan) and Art News and Views (Kolkata). He has participated in many national workshops and seminars. His work has been shown in many art exhibitions, including North Zone Youth Festival, Amritsar (2006), Jammu and Kashmir State Annual Art Exhibition (2006-09), and Kala Bhavan Annual Art Show, Academy of Fine Arts, Kolkata (2009-12). He curated an exhibition titled 'Kashmir, Art and Insurgency' at the Rinchen Zsangpo Gallery, Jammu University, Jammu in 2011. Malik has worked as Creative Artist for INTACH (J & K Chapter) since 2012.

Whitelaw is an academic, writer, and creative practitioner with interests in new media art and cultures, in particular-generative systems, data-aesthetics, and digital collections. His work has appeared in journals including; Leonardo, Digital Creativity, and Fibreculture. His current work spans materiality, data and culture, with a practical focus on creating ‘generous interfaces' for digital heritage. He has worked with institutions including the State Library of NSW, the National Archives, and the National Gallery of Australia; developing innovative interfaces to their digital collections. Mitchell is currently an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Arts and Design at the University of Canberra, where he leads the Digital Treasures program in the Centre for Creative and Cultural Research.
