Ashley Probasco

My name is Ashley Probasco and I started working with Abbey in 2023 as the Purchasing Agent and Scheduler. I enjoy working with Abbey because not only is it a locally owned family business, but also because my coworkers are incredible by being welcoming and always willing to help each other. I enjoy working with this industry because it is very relatable. You can't go anywhere without seeing fencing or some sort of construction. Customer service is an important part to any company. Customer service is the way you interact with people, how you speak with people and how you listen to them. It is about giving respect and being helpful with their inquiries. My biggest career highlight is obtaining this position, because it incorporates everything I have learned over my years of working in different industries and positions. While not at Abbey I am a family person and enjoy spending time with my 2 sons doing activities like going to the beach or visiting friends and family. My favorite place in Maryland to be is at a horse barn being around the horses and out in the country. We enjoy riding lessons and learning about how to take care of horses. Another place I like to spend my free time is at one of the many Delaware beaches. Nothing is more relaxing and calming then hearing the waves crash along the shore and having your feet buried in sand. Other activities I enjoy include scenic walks, reading, and baking sweets with the boys!

Jason Jay

My name is Jason Jay and I have been involved in the sales industry since 1997, but with Abbey since 2016 as one of the Residential Estimators. I grew up in the suburbs of Baltimore, know the area well and am proud of doing my part to enhance the homes in my community. My favorite part of being at Abbey is working with and meeting new people each day to help them make decisions on the fence or deck that suits their needs, as well as providing great service and standing behind our products and workmanship. I honestly consider it the career that I was put here to do! Customer service to me means being always available to answer questions. When not at Abbey, I enjoy watching sports and going to concerts, as well as vacationing and hanging with my wife, family, and friends. I am at peace when watching tv, doing yardwork, and listening to music. I love going out to eat, playing games, and going to the beach with my family.

Jay Yacobucci

My name is Jay Yacobucci and I have been in the home improvement industry for 20+ years. I am one of the Residential Estimators. I like working with Abbey because of its friendly, family like environment. Customer service to me means helping customers in making their decision that will improve their homes. My interests lie in cooking, gardening, and golf. When I am not at Abbey, I am either gardening or doing my own home improvements. I feel at peace when sitting around a campfire. My favorite way to spend time with my family is vacationing in Maine and going to Orioles games.

Joe Serpico

My name is Joe Serpico and I am fresh in the fence/deck industry and started working for Abbey in 2022. I am one of the Residential Estimators. I like working with my friendly coworkers in Abbey. My family has owned restaurants my entire life, so I understand the small-business mentality and how important it is to make a customer feel important. Prior to Abbey, I was a sports reporter for the Baltimore region so asking the questions necessary has always been a part of my life. My interests lie mainly with sports. When I am not at Abbey, you can usually find me at the gym or a sporting event. I enjoy spending time with my favorite people and by talking sports.

Jon "JP" Poehlman

My name is Jon " JP" Poehlman and I've been with Abbey since 2022 and have been in the construction home improvement field since about 1989. I am the Installation Manager for the wood and pvc projects. I like working for Abbey because I like the way we work together to get things done. I like learning about new products and seeing them put to the test. Customer service to me means communicating with clients throughout a project in a timely manner, no matter how big or small the project may be, because all projects are big to the customer. A career highlight I am proud of was being the head project manager of a 1.96 million dollar multi-discipline capitol improvement project and completing it on time.

Kayleigh Bell

My name is Kayleigh Bell and I started working with Abbey in 2021 as Office Support and Admin Assistant. I like working with Abbey because of great friendly coworkers; as well as, it being my first job outside of 12 years of retail. Customer service to me means treating customers how I would like to be treated. My interests lie in art, anime, and making costumes (cosplay). While not at Abbey I like to hang out with friends, watching tv, playing games, and spending time with my fiancé. I find peace when petting and cuddling my tiny and very needy 16 year old (as of 2021) cat Mocha as well as reading. My favorite way to spend time with both my and my fiancé's families are family dinners.

Scott Neal

My name is Scott Neal and I have been with Abbey since 2000 and have been in the fence/deck industry for since 1993. I am the Installation Manager and salesman for our aluminum, steel, and chain-link projects, as well as the purchasing agent for these products. I like working Abbey for the people I get to meet on the job. Customer service to me means guaranteeing that our customers have a pleasant experience. I am proud of the fact I am a Certified Fence Professional (CFP) and am active in the our industry trade organization, the American Fence Association (AFA). I have served as the president of the local AFA chapter, chairman of the AFA CFP Committee, and am a member of the AFA Board of Directors. When I am not at Abbey I enjoy hitting the outdoors to go hiking, mountain biking, and kayaking both by myself and with my family.
