AMMSA is recognised as a Voluntary Association by the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA), which provides some influence in terms of the accreditation of learning materials and institutions and strengthens the Association's role with regard to registration matters. Members comprise managers and general managers from gold, platinum, diamonds and base metal operations represented through five districts, including the Northern Cape, Free State, Central, Western and Eastern districts...
