The Apprentice of the Year competition is held every year, and aims to recognise excellence within the building industry in New Zealand... Registered Master Builders Apprentice of the Year, in partnership with CARTERS, aims to recognise excellence among carpentry apprentices and raise awareness of career opportunities in the building and construction industry... The competition has been running for over 20 years and looks to test several aspects of a well-rounded apprentice, not just their skills on the tools.
