Claire Linthwaite is the friendly and versatile receptionist at Belmont clinic. Claire is an accomplished administrative professional and is highly customer service oriented and takes great pride in providing exceptional service to people from all cultures with her natural empathy and problem-solving abilities. Claire is proactive, self-motivated, and brings a calm and collected approach to the team, along with a great sense of humour. In addition to her work at the clinic, Claire is a qualified creative, business owner, dog lover, mum to two young adults, choir member, and fitness enthusiast who enjoys spending time outdoors and travelling with friends.
Jennifer qualified from Auckland Medical School in 1985. She has undertaken post graduate training in general practice and obstetrics. She started in General Practice on the North Shore in 1991 and currently works part-time at Belmont Medical Centre the practice she founded back in 1994. Dr Waddell is married with a grown up family.
Joanna qualified from Otago Medical School in 1986. She has undertaken post graduate training in general practice. Prior to working in general practice Dr Hopkins did hospital based physician training. Joanna is married to an Ear Nose and Throat Surgeon and has three adult children.
Nawar graduated from the University of Auckland's Medical School in 2020. He has completed his postgraduate training in general practice and has more than three years of experience, combining hospital work and general practice. Nawar is passionate about delivering empathetic, patient-centered care and has a particular interest in working collaboratively with patients to manage their health. Outside of medicine, he is an avid sports fan, especially football, and enjoys keeping fit, listening to music, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Dr Tetiana Chornovol has recently moved to New Zealand with her kiwi partner from her home country of Ukraine. Tetiana is trained as a Doctor of Neurology and had been practicing as a Neurologist in Odessa, Ukraine. Tetiana is unable to practice as a Doctor in New Zealand as re-registration is required. Her plan is to re-register as a medical professional in New Zealand and she is going to work towards this over the next couple of years. In the meantime we are very grateful to have Tetiana as part of our team as a healthcare assistant and receptionist.
Reece is an experienced health service management professional with a proven track record of leading successful teams. As our Practice Manager, Reece brings extensive expertise and leadership skills to our practice. Reece has a talent for effective communication and collaboration, providing his teams with the necessary resources and support to achieve success. He is passionate about delivering the highest level of care to our patients, ensuring our practice operates efficiently. In his free time, Reece enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with his family. We are confident that Reece's experience and dedication will ensure our patients receive the highest quality of care.
