CRF is also planning for an eventual facility expansion. We are in the planning stages to bring in a 220-foot drydock capable of handling some of the larger tugs and barges on the Great Lakes... John started Calumet River Fleeting, Inc. in 1994. We are proud to carry on John's Legacy, as Calumet River Fleeting continues to be one of the premier Tug and Barge Companies operating on the Great Lakes... Chicago Drydock can handle carpentry, electrical work on tugs, rudders, shafts and seals and fabrication. We also perform hull inspections as part of compliance with subchapter M requirements.
