Jacob MacDonald

Jacob MacDonald began his electrical career in 2012; after studying in Port Hawkesbury, and a few brief months of working in his hometown of New Glasgow he moved to Halifax to further pursue it. Beginning with large apartment complexes, his career branched from there. He continued to work with many different electrical outfits large and small, providing hands on experience and knowledge in many facets of the trade from lighting retrofits and fire alarm systems, to renovation and new construction of residential and commercial spaces alike. He was raised to work hard and keep honest, and nothing makes him happier than helping others. He strives every day on working hard to see projects completed, all the while continuing to learn and gain as varied experience as possible as his career advances. He is also an avid music lover and spends most of his spare time playing and recording music.

Tim Lowe

Tim is a Red Seal Journeyman Electrician and has been involved with the trade since 2010 working on residential, commercial and industrial projects. He began his career in the oil & gas sector in Alberta which entailed working on a variety of new construction, upgrades and maintenance projects in SAGD, gas and oil production facilities. Upon returning to Nova Scotia in 2013, he joined the Colter Electric team where he has since expanded his commercial and residential experience. Tim assists clients with all aspects of planning and implementation to provide a complete range of electrical services. He is adept in performing electrical installations, maintenance and repairs; knowledgeable in the Canadian Electrical Code; and in analyzing and solving problems with various electrical controls and systems. Tim has received several safety awards and is an active member of the Colter Electric safety program.
