DEAF DOG MUSIC

Composer, singer, violinist and multi -instrumentalist Dan Myers hails from the north woods of Stevens Point, Wisconsin. He is a graduate of Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan with a degree in Jazz Studies and recently attained a Masters in Film Scoring from Columbia College in Chicago. His former original band, Down The Line, toured the country with legendary acts such as Peter Frampton, America, Colin Hay (of Men At Work), Lifehouse, Ben Folds, Marshall Crenshaw, Pat Benatar, and The Gin Blossoms to name a few. He now tours the world with his new indie -folk band, Stolen Silver, as well as actor Gary Sinise's Lt. Dan Band (named after his legendary role in Forrest Gump)... Dan composes songs and music for film, television and the stage. His voice and instruments can be heard in many commercials and jingles. He is unashamed of having a hand carved wooden african rhinoceros collection. Dan is also very proud to be a "Dog" at Deaf Dog Music... Over the years Billy..
