Betty Eitel

Betty Eitel, Ph.D. is a licensed Psychologist who graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology from University of Texas at Arlington and a Master's degree and Doctorate of Philosophy in Psychology (PhD-PSY) from Texas Woman's University. She completed her internship at the Missouri Health Science Consortium/Truman Memorial VA in Columbia, Missouri. Her passion is helping people create lives and relationships that are extraordinary. She is the owner and CEO of DFW Psychological & Consulting Services, Inc. since 2002 that includes a staff of several secretaries, advanced doctoral and postdoctoral students, and insurance specialists who are also committed to this passion. Dr. Eitel and her staff provide a variety of psychological services for children, adolescents, and adults, including individual, couples, and group therapy as well as psychological evaluations and consultations. For your convenience, services are offered in Hurst and Burleson. Sliding scale fees are also available.

Kim Jermany

Dr. Kim Hunter-Jermany holds a Doctorate of Psychology with a Specialization in Clinical Psychology degree from Capella University. She began her studies in 2011 when she began her journey into the field of psychology. Kim has a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology, which she also received from Capella University. She works with individuals from all populations, from children to adults, and is passionate about helping others. She specializes in psychological evaluations assessing autism in young children, adolescents, and adults. Psychological assessments for veterans, neuropsychological assessments, bariatric & pain evaluations. She provides psychotherapy for work in individual and family therapy, crisis intervention, and psychosocial education with patients of all ages. She also provides psychological evaluations for various schools, organizations, and companies, including clinical interviews with adults requesting disability or vocational services. She also offers assessments and diagnoses for children of multiple ages to adequately be accommodated in a school setting and receive additional psychological services. Make relevant mental health diagnoses, recommendations for medication evaluations, and suggestions for additional services to meet the client's needs. She utilizes cognitive-behavioral therapy, reality therapy, and solution-focused therapy to treat affective disorders, anxiety disorders, phobias, personality disorders, adjustment disorders, geriatric issues, women's issues, chronic pain, and sexual abuse issues. When Kim is not volunteering, she works hard to educate others as a professor, volunteering at her church when called upon. She has a deep understanding of early education and working towards building better bonds with parents and their children for them to be more involved in their children's education. She loves to help children and just people in general. When she is not working or helping others, she enjoys time with her family, outdoors, and pets, as well as relaxation and peace. She also enjoys cooking and fishing, and, most importantly, above all else, she loves her Lord, God, and Jesus Christ.

Kya Bock M.

Kya Bock M.S. grew up in San Antonio, Texas and earned her B.A. in Behavioral Sciences with a minor and emphasis in psychology at Concordia University Irvine. She earned her Master of Science in Clinical Psychology degree from Southwestern Assemblies God University. While in her master's program, she focused her time and research on adolescents and young adults having difficulties with new life changes such as divorce, graduating from college, psychological abuse, relations to trauma, anxiety and depression. She has also assessed and diagnosed patients who suffer from Autism Spectrum Disorder, Learning Disabilities, Attention- Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Eating Disorders, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and Major Depressive Disorder among other disorders. Kya has experience working with children, teens and adults from multicultural backgrounds and different sexual orientations. Kya also enjoys volunteering her time to coach young athletes in volleyball and helping their journey with their confidence, loving themselves and their overall mental health. When Kya is not working; she is enjoying her time traveling to new places and being outside with nature. She finds value in connecting with nature, as it can be a valuable strategy for reducing anxiety, alleviating stress, and managing feelings of anger. She expresses how consistent exposure to green spaces has shown associations with a decreased risk of depression and enhanced concentration and attention.
