Dr. Amy Tardy

Dr. Amy Tardy, LCPC-c, received her doctorate in human services, spending the past 18+ years working in the field of mental health and substance abuse, with specific emphasis on stress and burnout. Eight years of her time was devoted entirely to working with the Maine Medical Association's professional population. Amy's significant experience with physicians and advanced providers allows her encouraging style, kindness, and gentle understanding to permeate her support. Dr. Tardy's work with DocExecutive focuses on coaching and counseling clients who may be satisfied with a brief infusion of insight, or who may want/need a longer period of healing and growth.Evaluations and treatment for DocExecutive are provided through an affiliation with Water's Edge Therapy in Waterville, where Dr. Tardy is located.

John M. O'Brien

Dr. O'Brien holds a Ph.D. in consulting psychology. In addition, John is a certified professional coach. Dr. O'Brien joined DocExecutive in 2015 and focuses his work on supporting the mental health of physicians, healthcare executives, medical practices and medical staffs. John's welcoming and comforting personality encourages a partnership between him and the clients who are on a journey to regain a sense of wellness.

Dr. Palmer holds a Ph.D in organizational psychology. She practices with special emphases on the well-being of medical providers. Stress related behaviors, including physician burnout are at the center of her focus with individual physicians, medical practices, and medical staffs. Dr. Palmer has built a network of exceptional support delivered by seasoned and experienced medical professionals through DocExecutive. Dr. Palmer is the founder and president of DocExecutive, specifically for physicians and advanced care providers, as well as founder and president of Healthcare Management Consulting Group, designed to support efforts at creating healthier and more productive work environments in healthcare systems.
