Dr. Kirksey has been in private practice in Fairfax, VA, for over 30 years. He graduated from VCU School of Dentistry in 1979, and has enjoyed working in general dentistry with a focus in orthodontics, oral surgery, and implants. Dr. Kirksey has achieved Diplomate status in both the American Orthodontic Society and the International Association for Orthodontics. Dr. Kirksey continues to advance and refine his skills in all aspects of dentistry, but he is especially interested in using dental implants to restore his patients' smiles and happiness.
Dr. Charles D. Kirksey is our go-to dentist for dental implants. Dentists must take additional courses and certifications to perform implant surgery as it's a complicated procedure. Dr. Kirksey can help with everything from orthodontics to oral surgery to restore your teeth.
Dr. Kirksey has been meeting the dental needs of patients in Fairfax and the surrounding communities since 1986. Over the years, he has enjoyed working with all aspects of general dentistry, with a specialization in orthodontics that earned him Diplomate status in the American Orthodontic Society.

After study at Eastern New Mexico University, Dr. Kirksey became a Commissioned Line Officer in the United States Navy. He attended the Officer Candidate School in Newport, RI, where he received his commission. He then attended the Naval Communication School, adjacent to the Naval War College campus, in Newport.
Dr. Kirksey has had a lifelong interest in many of the scientific and cultural resources based in Northern Virginia and the DC metro area, such as the National Geographic Society and the Smithsonian Institution.
When Dr. Kamali is not working on perfecting his patients' smiles, he can usually be found cooking up something delicious - either in the kitchen or behind the grill - all year round!
He also thoroughly enjoys sports, whether it's playing soccer in a local league, going to football games, or exercising.
Dr. Kamali loves spending time with his family, especially when he can get away with them to travel. Dr. Kamali always looks forward to their annual vacation together in Mexico and, whenever possible, enjoys being able to travel back home to Shiraz, Iran, to visit his parents and extended family.
Dr. Kamali believes that his patients should "live life to the fullest and look their best doing it."

Our youngest dentist, Dr. Milan Simanek joined Fairfax Family Dental Care in 2011. He is multilingual, speaking English, Spanish, and Czech.
Dr. Simanek's gentle and down-to-earth demeanor has earned him the loyalty of his many patients in and around Fairfax, VA.
Dr. Simanek joined our practice in 2011 after graduating from VCU School of Dentistry. He enjoys all facets of general dentistry, but especially oral surgery and orthodontics. Dr. Simanek is honored to be a Fellow of the American Orthodontic Society and the International Association for Orthodontics. His orthodontic cases have also earned him top honors at the annual meetings of these groups. Dr. Simanek is multi-lingual, speaking English, Spanish, and Czech.

Dr. Kamali is highly skilled in replacing missing teeth and uses state-of-the-art aesthetic restorative procedures to solve the toughest dental problems and create beautiful smiles. He's even fluent in Farsi. But that's not all that sets him apart:
Dr. Touraj Kamali has been practicing in Fairfax, VA, as an associate with Fairfax Family Dental Care for over twenty years. After getting his doctorate in 1993, he moved to Richmond, VA, to be closer to his family and friends. Dr. Kamali practiced in Richmond for a few years before relocating to Northern Virginia. He is grateful for the opportunity to serve the greater Fairfax community.
Dr. Kamali has worked with Dr. Kirksey for over twenty years. He graduated from University of Texas - Houston Dental School in 1993 and moved to Northern Virginia a few years later. Dr. Kamali's areas of interest and expertise include full-mouth rehabilitation, cosmetic dentistry, and root canal treatments. He is also fluent in both English and Farsi, and appreciates the opportunity to serve the greater Fairfax community.
