Alexander (Sandy) Gordon

Job Titles:

Alexander (Sandy) Gordon has worked as a contractor at Family Enrichment since 2002. Sandy also provides individual, couples, and family counselling. He specializes in men's anger management and domestic violence issues. Before Family Enrichment, Sandy worked for 26 years with the provincial government in child welfare programs, primarily child protection.

Alyssa Boudreau

Job Titles:

Alyssa provides counselling to adolescents and adults with a variety of concerns such as, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, relationships and stress management. Alyssa works from a strengths-based and interpersonal process approach, and has received introductory training in Emotionally-Focused Individual Therapy. Alyssa co-facilitates the Changing Ways for Men program and the Changing Tides program. Alyssa received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Education at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton.

Anne St. Pierre

​Anne joined the Family Enrichment and Counselling Service Team in Fredericton in 2019 as a contract psychotherapist. French being her first language, she is a bilingual Certified Canadian Counselor (CCC) from the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association and a Licensed Counselling Therapist (CTA) from the College of Counselling Therapists of NB. With a combination of expertise in theoretical training and practical experience, she is well-rounded in the field of child/teen and family therapy, individual counseling, and couple dynamics. Through her master's degree in counselling psychology and a diploma in social service, she built knowledge in the following counseling fields : Choice Theory, Ethics, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, Alcohol Addiction, DBT, Establishing a therapeutic consciousness for effective therapy, Narrative practice with couple therapy, Principles of mediation, Using undercover teams to re-story bullying relationships, Play-based Therapy, Supporting Indigenous Young People, Addressing Trauma in Conquered People, and Systemic Oppression and Traumatic Stress: Evidence-based Social Justice Interventions. She is also trained to give: attachment-based therapy to promote healthy parent-child attachment, Mental Health First Aid, and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI). She has built specialized expertise in the field of family communication and dynamics through these numerous training opportunities and in her personal experiences, being a mom of four and a foster parent for many years. Most recently, during the pandemic, she received training in children and family crisis management serving the Kids Help Phone line at a national level and is currently a facilitator for The Sake of the Children for the province of NB. She has always been very passionate about social work, notably working with children, teenagers, and family dynamics. She is able to build strong, empathy-based connections with parents and children that allows her to guide them toward healthier lives.

Annie Godbout

Annie Godbout is a registered social worker with a Masters in Social Work. Annie has been practicing as a social worker for 5 years with various experience working with adolescents and adults of all ages. Annie received a Bachelor of Arts from St Thomas University and a Masters in Social Work from the University of Calgary with a specialization in clinical social work practice. Annie provides individual counselling for adults and teens on various concerns including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, as well as family and relationship issues. Annie's approach to counselling is collaborative, meaning that you will work together on finding solutions that will work for you.

Bobby Ross

Bobby Ross specializes in counselling adolescents and in issues related to trauma such as PTSD. Bobby also provides counselling to individuals of all ages. Bobby supervises clinical interns from the M.Ed. program at UNB

Bruce is an Information Technology Programmer/Analyst Instructor at NBCC- Fredericton Campus. He joined the Board of Family Enrichment in January 2016 and was appointed Chair in September 2017. Bruce believes in the high quality counselling Family Enrichment provides to thousands of clients every year. - Being an active member of the Board is Bruce's way to give back to the community.

Jocelyn Anderson

Jocelyn Anderson (she/they) is a registered social worker who provides counselling to adolescents and adults. In her work at Family Enrichment, she draws on her 5+ years of experience in working with individuals who are seeking support for anxiety, depression, anger, and grief. She particularly enjoys helping people to draw on their internal strengths and gain positive coping skills. Jocelyn received her Bachelor and Master of Social Work at Ryerson University in Toronto, Ontario. New to the province, she is excited to call New Brunswick home.

Laurie Guthrie - VP

As a long-serving employee of the City of Fredericton, Laurie Guthrie has worked primarily in the field of economic development - spearheading various strategic initiatives to cultivate economic growth, and to earn Fredericton's brand equity as a ‘Smart City' and ‘Startup Capital of Canada'. As Vision 2020 Project Manager, Laurie steered the consultant and 250 stakeholders in the development of Fredericton's economic development strategy - resulting in a five-year secondment to the community's economic development agency to facilitate implementation of Vision 2020. She led the rebranding of Ignite Fredericton; creation of task forces to drive priority sector growth; and development of the region's investment attraction strategy and tool-kit. Laurie also managed the Marketing & Communications Division of Ignite Fredericton, Planet Hatch and Knowledge Park.

Lisa O'Blenis

She consistently uses the synergistic power of team planning to achieve goals while promoting a culture of trust and respect. Lisa joined Family Enrichment in April 2021.

Marilia Paulon

Marilia Paulon is a MSW/RSW with a background in Law who provides counselling to youth and adults. In her work as a counsellor, Marilia utilizes a relational, strengths-based approach providing clients with the support they need to overcome challenges related to mental health. As an immigrant herself, Marilia has a special interest in supporting newcomers who are dealing with challenges that come from integrating in a new country.

Paula Poirier

Tracy Houlding

Tracy provides counselling to individuals and couples. She has completed advanced training in Emotion Focused Therapy for Couples, as well as training in Gottman Couples Therapy, working with survivors of sexual violence, the treatment of depression and anxiety, stress management and cognitive behavioural interventions for emotional eating. She particularly enjoys helping people work through major life transitions by helping them access their own strengths and resources.
