We believe that we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and His death, burial, and physical resurrection... In August of 1996, Jeff and Kathy Oakes, along with two other families, sensed the Lord Jesus direct them to start a church in the Tri-Cities that was committed to seeing the Word of God and the Presence of God manifest in the region to release salvation, healing, deliverance, and to raise up disciples. Our commission was found in Isaiah 61, the same scriptures Jesus opened for the inauguration of His ministry in Luke 4. It was in November of 1996 after many confirmations that Hosanna Fellowship began. For two and a half years we met at the Holiday Inn in Johnson City as well as in homes and dorms during the week.
