Amy's credo is "Massage helps you become aware of your body so you can manage stress and tension instead of suppressing it, which could lead to sickness and disease." She believes that "Massage connects the mind and body helping clients fulfill their potential." Since going back to school in 2006 for Health Coaching and later Personal Training, Amy has developed a stronger belief and passion in assisting her clients to listen to their bodies and let their bodies' infinite wisdom be the guide. Amy has also delved further into the food/mood connection and has a passion for the role that food makes in how we feel in our bodies. And, of course, movement and exercise comprise the third paradigm of good health. Amy has been practicing Yoga for the last 24 years and incorporates movement and balance into her personal training sessions as well as her massages and her daily life. She is an instructor at the Finger Lakes School of Massage in Mount Kisco, and loves being able to give back to future Licensed Massage Therapists. She enjoys sharing her knowledge with hundreds of students as a teacher and a mentor.
