The Institute was organized as a Massachusetts non-profit corporation in 2009 wit h a strong mission to engage in independent research and education. INGARM is currently governed by a three-member Executive Board, as well as an Advisory Board that includes recognized professionals and academics as well as representatives from government agencies. The Institute's research and educational efforts are supported by INGARM Research Associates as well as funded Research Fellows. As a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, the Institute is a fiscal agent for gift and grant acceptance as well as endowment management.
