MARKS OF EXCELLENCE

As a day care center, Marks of Excellence previously known as Tutor Time, has been situated in North Amityville since opening its doors in 1997. We are a licensed Day Care with a capacity for 161 children ranging from 6 weeks to 12 years. Our school age children are provided with before and after school care, and full day care when the school districts are closed. We also offer an exciting, fun-filled Summer Camp Program during the months of July and August... We understand the importance of promoting learning through the physical, social, emotional and intellectual development of young children with a nurturing approach. In addition to the educational impact we have on our children, we have been consistently known and selected for the family atmosphere and our staff's ability to care and nurture our kids as if they were "their own"... Each room is staffed keeping in mind the ratios recommended by the Office of Children and Family Services. Our staff receive 30 hours of training..
