In addition to her professional responsibilities, Dr. Qayyum is deeply involved with community service and philanthropy. She, with her husband, Dr Ijaz Qayyum, is a founding member of the Human Development Foundation of North America , a non- profit organization for education, healthcare, poverty alleviation and women empowerment.She serves on the Board of Directors of HDFNA, and is very passionate about its mission of serving the underprivileged people of Pakistan, and visits the projects regularly volunteering her time.

Rudaina Swais

Mrs. Swais is passionate about excellence in patient care and believes in long term relationships, based on trust and mutual respect. As the staff supervisor, she leads by example where patients come first, and ensures a culture of care where each patient is special. She is always available to address any need, be it a health related issue or an insurance and billing query.

Trina Ellis Childs

Trina has recently joined our practice and brings with her over 25 years of healthcare experience. Starting in Allied Health, she went on to earn her degree in Registered Nursing and a Masters in Health Education. Her broad based experience in various clinical specialties at institutions such as Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Rush Medical Centers, have given her a solid clinical skill set. As the Director of Education, Trina has acquired the teaching and managerial skills, which allow her to effectively participate into areas of community awareness and public health. As a healthcare professional, she has expanded her abilities in many aspects of the workforce. In the course of her various academic and administrative accomplishments over the years of her professional career, she has developed the ability to establish rapport, gain trust, and communicate effectively with patients, staff and the community at large.Trina recognizes that her experience with several diverse opportunities in the medical field have enriched her professionally and have led to personal growth. Also, in the course of her career path, she has inspired, educated, and supported many individuals and continues to be an advocate of community health and finds it to be a rewarding journey. In the clinical setting of Midwest Allergy & Asthma Clinic, her background as health educator, her clinical expertise and her kind and caring personality fits right in with our philosophy of self-help and preventive approach towards disease management.
